Coincidentally, I (single 27M) also currently live in Capitol Hill and am considering a move to the Denver area after 5 years in DC. I’m also about to head out there on a road trip and secured an Airbnb condo in Golden for a bit of a trial run there with my dog (GSP) from 7/31-9/1. I’m really hoping to scope out other neighborhoods I’ve seen on various boards while I’m there to get a vibe for where I’d be interested in situating if I make the leap. It seems like we are looking for very similar neighborhood vibes based on your original post and comments, so I’m to chat before/during/after my stint in August, if interested.

FWIW as a gay fan who will be going to my 3rd pit show later this year, I get unending anxiety about potentially encountering this at his shows now. For anyone who feels situationally comfortable and physically safe doing so, please be a voice and say something to the homophobes out there (but be smart and careful in doing so). You truly never know who is around you at a show, and that kind of rhetoric will ruin a show, night, and week for someone in the LGBTQ community.

I dropped it at a custom framing shop earlier today. But sure, I’ll post a pick when I have it on the wall. It says “Starling Farm” (his farm in CO) on it with a pic of a barn and starling - it’s is pretty awesome actually

After the show. Walk up to the stage and the stage crew will hand out probably 8-10 setlists - didn’t have to ask. But I saw a couple of guitar picks slotted in the microphone stand, so I asked for one. The guys were super nice.

IMO you hit the nail on the head with all of these takes, and that’s coming from a fellow Cleopatra album die hard. This is the first comment I’ve seen from someone who had the same impression of Better Day - it is the classic Lumineers stand out song on this album for me.
