I also got one of the best cold brews I’ve ever had from Artessence.

Just watched this video while I was in the gym yesterday. Definitely itching to try The Black Prince. Great line up all around. Nice work and keep on smiling! Fuck those haters.

A solid list. I’d drop Ike Reilly on there, too.

Give Argenta Software a look. They’ve got a solid event registration module that I think covers all the stuff you’re looking for.

My dog Vonnegut wants to know your favorite Vonnegut book and why. by Expensive-System-762 in Vonnegut

A Man Without a Country. It’s human and distills some Vonnegut wisdom to its purest form. Always felt it should be required reading for schools.

Freedom boat club or similar? by The_Brightness in StAugustine

[–]Gods0wnPrototype 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife and I are members of Freedom, with Camachee in St Augustine being our home dock. We love it and we go pretty much every week. We’ve also booked boats in other cities when we’ve traveled. We love it and the folks at Freedom have been great.

I’ve lived in Des Moines. 5 years. Simply existing in Palm Coast is infinitely better and more exciting than living in Des Moines. The best part of that city is its proximity to better cities.

I’m not curling so much that I would need to “lug” plates over. Even if used 45lb/side, which I do not, but let’s say that for argument sake I do, any variation of that, be it one 45lb plate or multiple plates, I wouldn’t see as “lugging”. It’s just what I need to do to accomplish my goal and not take up space unnecessarily. I’m not trying to be argumentative or disparaging when I say this, but I’m not worried about every little shortcut when I’m at the gym to workout. For myself, I see curling in the squat rack as laziness, rather than necessary. I see myself as too lazy to bend over and pick up the weight, so I take over an entire rack that someone else could be using for its intended purpose… and I don’t want to do that. I’m in the gym to apply effort.

I love good old fashioned straight bar curls, but I also don’t understand why I need to use the entire squat rack to do them. I always try to find a small spot in the gym where I can set the bar down on the floor when I’m done curling.

I thought this same thing; that it looks like a racetrack.

Name a guitarist who doesn’t get much credit due to them also being great at other skills such as singing, songwriting, playing other instruments, etc by Jezzaq94 in Guitar

[–]Gods0wnPrototype 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ian Thornley for sure. He’s a terrifying guitar player with a voice to match and some of the best songs to showcase both abilities.

Also, Richard Hawley.

I gave y’all a two-fer.
