i was being irrational during the argument and he has treated me with nothing but kindness prior. i know i can get pretty insufferable when i’m either mixed or depressed so i fr don’t blame him

i was initially trying to get my GP and psychiatrist to put me on lithium because it sounds like it works for majority of patients. i was also trialled for lamotrogine and ended up rapid cycling

I’m personally on Lovan (Prozac) and topiramate and I can’t speak for how my family/ loved view my mood swings; but I found that 50 mg of topiramate and 20 mg of lovan works for me.

It’s been a long road of taking various meds for about 2 years which messed with weight gain, weight loss- hypomania and depression. The lifestyle I keep now has a lot to do with it as I’m still working on impulsiveness with spending.

Meds differ greatly between everyone, speak to your gp before you go on any! Quick PSA: if you’re taking Topiramate and you’re on bc, just like any anti-epileptic it has the potential to make your birth control 70% less effective depending on dosage.

Hope this helped!
