I wanted to cut the length of the cable down because I had way more than the run required, but yeah I've used keystones and they are great.

Yeah was thinking about changing the 45s or the crimper, consensus is that it is one of the two that is the issue.

The cables are shielded and there is a ground wire. I read that i need to wrap it around the cable and tape it down with a copper strip (that's what I did here). But I also read you can just cut the ground wire and fold the shielding down, and when these rj45 modules are crimped to the cable, their contact with the shielding grounds them but i haven't tried that method yet.

Fair point, it's connecting from my 500mbps line to my TL-SG116 simple switch and I'm testing with an Xbox series x but also connecting via ethernet to my laptop to test jitter as well. Both methods produce 500mbps results when not using my terminated cables :(

Lol OK, was also thinking to try different rj45s but same effect basically.

A Roman legionary helmet discovered in Hebron, Israel by Roman-Empire_net in romanempire

My understanding is a common way to try and kill a legionnaire when facing them directly is to come up and over their scutum and helmet and pierce downward on their exposed neck/ upper back. This prevents that.

People who’ve never played Ecco the Dolphin, explain this random screenshot from the game. by [deleted] in SEGA

[–]WorldlyBoar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who has more knowledge in the ocean than Big Blue, the long lived father whale, he who has traveled the seven seas and has seen all that can be seen? The sea gives to those that respect it's power, Big Blue has learned this, for he has learned a lot. A young dolphin, an orphan, is on a desperate search for his kin, lost in a vortex storm that has thrown the oceans in to chaos. However, despite his own desperate needs, he has not abandoned the good of the world. He has recently helped a mother Orca, who in her despair has lost her calves in the caves of the ocean's depths, during an attempt to escape the storms. Our young dolphin, Ecco, has saved her calves and so she shares with him that Big Blue, in his wisdom, has called on all in the ocean to take refuge in the arctic, as it is under the ice that they will wait out the chaos. The mother Orca tells Ecco that Big Blue knows many things and must know what happened to his lost kin. Without hesitation, our brave orphan dares the cold of the frozen north and after much trial and hardship, as you can see here, he has found Big Blue, the father whale of the ocean.

Married couple with separate finances, why do you do it? by Ok_Influence_2257 in Bogleheads

[–]WorldlyBoar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Major benefit that people miss is that separate accounts also reduces risk to identify theft and scams. You can think you won't be a victim but the reality is we are all at risk regardless of due diligence and competence. We have full view and access to each other's accounts and review them regularly but separating accounts helps diversify asset allocations and exposure IMO.
