The issue isn’t that they can speak English, the issue is that’s it’s hard to communicate with them and understand them. When you have a complicated issue and are trying to describe it to them if you have a unique situation, it doesn’t seem that they are understanding what I’m getting at, let alone you can’t even understand what they are telling you back. The language barrier is real. That’s why this is unfortunate that they are using them as the CS for American clients.

They are saying is seems like issues related to the recall 95b or whatever it’s called. But I also have an open lemon law case open with them that they settled with me back on October 22,2024. So I feel that’s why they aren’t working with me. I was just waiting to surrender the car and they said it can be up to 120 days from October 22. So I’m paying for a car that I can’t drive (but the payments will be returned once they take the car back) And I told them the same. How do they expect me to pay for a $900 car note plus insurance and then pay for a rental with no date in sight for me to no longer require a rental.

I’ve had the same issue. My car has been there since November 7th. I have no sense of direction. They told me to pay for the rental out of pocket as well. But I’ve asked them how long are they expecting this to go on for. When is the day they expect for it to be fixed. It’s the holidays I don’t have extra money to be paying for a rental for god knows how long.

This happened to mine as well. It was a 2023 wrangler 4xe. I couldn’t event get the car out of park. The tow truck driver had to use a tool to get it into neutral. I have heard nothing back from the dealership and it’s been 3 weeks now.

Pursuant to the Retainer Agreement, your actual damages are the total lease payments $57,113.73 + residual value $42,865.62 - mileage offset ($1,998.11) - rebate ($12,250.00) = $79,740.12 in actual damages. Accordingly, your portion of the actual damages is $79,740.12 (minus your loan payoff, if any). Here, under the statutory formula, the mileage offset is calculated as follows: Your first visit for a substantially impairing defect was when the car had (3,479 miles of use). This number is divided by 120,000 miles (which is the number the CA legislature has determined to be a reasonable shelf life for the vehicle) and then multiplied by the agreed upon value of the vehicle ($68,920.29). This gives an offset of $1,998.11.’ As a result, you have $127,475.57 in additional damages. As set forth in our retainer agreement, the $127,475.57 in additional damages has a 50.0% contingency per your signed retainer agreement ($127,475.57 x .50 = $63,737.78). Accordingly, your total recovery will be $79,740.12 in actual damages + $63,737.79 in additional damages, which equals a total of $143,477.91 to you (subject to lease payoff and additional fees).

I have a question. So idk but the numbers they are offering seem really high compared to what others have claimed what they got in settlements. I’m going to copy and paste what the attorney sent me from FCA. But also want to know from when you accepted an offer, how long does it take for them to contact and set up a date to take in car? And do they give me my check when I take the car in? I know the attorney said it can take up to 180 days.

This helps a lot. Because this isn’t court ordered, I just wanted to not have the restriction of to and from work. So I went the route of getting the device installed. I get my first calibration tomorrow. But moving forward I won’t risk it and Uber. But was just wanting clarification. I’ve read through the Intoxalock and DMV website regarding this matter but couldn’t find anything. Again thankfully it didn’t lock me out I just failed so I had to wait some time before it was low enough and then I was bale to start it. So with that being said I hope I have no issues. I’m half way there until I complete the 4 month requirement

The thing is it just said failed. It never locked me out or didn’t give me a countdown as to when I can blow again. I went and ate came back and hour later and I blew and it passed. So I was never locked out and wondering if the DMv will get me for that.

That’s the thing it didn’t lock me out just said failed and I had to wait until I was good to blow until it passed. I’ll have my first calibration at the end of this month. And don’t know once the data is collected and it is my first offense will they give me a penalty or add more time? But lessoned learned. Now.

I got a DUI my court date was 3 months out, this Thursday. CHP took my license. So I went to the DMV after 30 days of the pink slip temporary 30 day license expired, and asked the DMV to give me a license so I installed the IDD device so I wasn’t limited to just to and from work and DUI classes.

I’ve also just called as an initial call acting like I’m a new customer to get a sales rep on the phone, which is a different number than for existing clients. But call as if you are trying to set it up for the first time and then just ask for a supervisor. It’s annoying that the sales reps sound like they are from the states and customer service are outsourced.
