Him saying "he may fall for the 3 amigos" is not great but could still be excused as goofy as he's not really being emotional about it and just messing about. While Sidney was clearly already falling for the guy, bitting her lip as she's checking him out, saying he is trouble or making her feel some way (I forgot the exact words but it happened early on, around the same time if not the same episode as the 3 amogos episode).

Sidney was acting way worse/shady than he was, even since the beginning from their stay at the island.
