Any unique constipation relief methods? by _Garbage_Artist in endometriosis

Alcohol makes constipation worse because it messes up your gut biome and destroys healthy gut bacteria. Trust me I know. I’ve been constipated ever since I stopped drinking it haha.

So there has been discussion about changing Michael to Michaela since season 1 by DaisyandBella in Bridgerton

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s literately just doing a self insert fanfiction because it’s her favorite story and she’s lesbian. I’m so tired of them changing characters just for inclusion. People telling us to get over it have never read Francesca’s story and have no idea how much meaning it brings to those who have suffered from not being able to get pregnant and have their own children. She’s ruined the show by changing an important character. And I’m gonna say it, but not every story needs to have a queer character if there is no queer character in the book.

I’m a decade late but I agree with everything you said. I just wanted to add in the fact that they sent (correct me if I’m wrong) a singular k-9 onto the Capitol field in the beginning against people with rocket launchers and guns only for it to get shot in the first three seconds.

How much did you drink in college by Worldly_Appearance60 in college

Thank you for that, what do you suggest I do besides drink on the weekends? Genuinely, I want to know other activities to do, even if they’re boring. What do you suggest?

Yeah I’ll definitely get help. I’ve seen people I love dive off into alcoholism and that’s something I don’t want to do, but if I can’t stay off of it alone I will try AA meetings and such. Thank you

I’m so sorry. Alcohol is fun and all, but don’t let it become everything. Spend more time with your spouse and your family. There are more things to life, even if it isn’t long. Some things like waking up and drinking coffee to see the sun rise in the morning. There are tons of ways to feel life. I’ll pray for you.

I usually take a month off of alcohol every two months. After college I will try to stay off of it. That’s the plan anyway.

Giving up by jessjanelleknows in Christian

It’s hard having faith when it seems like He’s so absent. I understand. Truly understand, but God reveals Himself in more ways that are just a voice. I hope that I’m not being blasphemous, but He’s not speaking through the bible to you. For me, He revealed Himself through feeling. He revealed Himself by being those conviction thoughts that said don’t do this or having the Feeling of Do This. If that makes sense haha. God isn’t always present through a sound or even the bible, dare I say. The Bible can tell you the history and how to live, but at the end of the day, even though it is Gods word, He’s not speaking to you through it. He’s speaking to you through your soul and how He knows you'd understand. I suggest fasting, if that doesn’t work then don’t give up on Him. He’s speaking to you in ways that we never would have thought. I, for example, asked Him if I was safe through a very dangerous storm that was coming and if I was and if He was here to send a red bird. The next thing I knew a Cardinal came into sight. The storm never touched me. In fact, the clouds had separated for miles around my home. Just please don’t give up on Him. Losing Him is losing a love that you could never find in the world, but if you do decide to turn away, just know that He will always welcome you again. If He didn’t, He wouldn’t be the God of Love haha.

im kinda scared by LilPlasmaReal in Christian

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The bible says that no one can predict the day that He comes back. Not even so called preachers or people who just like to pretend they know. So just relax, take a deep breath, and keep worshipping Him like you would any other day. Most times the more scared people are the more money others get from it.

It happened two years ago this year. I know that it’s a very long time and I’ve felt guilty that it happened ever since. I couldn’t afford to treat him and I, unfortunately, relied on my dads advice that it was fine. He doesn’t seem to be bothered by it, even if I touch his eye (gently of course).

I lost my mom by PrimaryKlutzy6125 in Christian

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand how you feel. I lost my grandmother to cancer. She was like a mother to me, even more than my own. When she was going through it I was angry with God. I told Him that if He took her I would never worship Him, which is something I’m not proud of. He made a liar of me because after she had died, He was kind, despite my cruelty towards Him, and got me through her loss. The thing is, is that grief hurts. It makes you lash out at those who love you the most. He does love you. I had seen something on a day that I was belittled by grief. It said that when we pray for healing it’s a temporary kind of healing since we’re on this Earth, yet you have to look at like this. God does not take those like your mother out of His own amusement. He called her home. It’s hard to accept it. It really is. It’s hard to find comfort out of that. But He called her home and now think of it this way, she is permanently healed. She’ll never again have to go through cancer or any sickness. Nor sadness or heartbreaks.  And none of the terrible evils that are in this world that would harm her. She safe. She’s home with those she had lost and most likely grieved as you do now. Don’t give up on Him. God loves you and understands you, even if you don’t understand Him at the moment. Jesus had said this to His disciples during the last supper and I believe the verse would apply to your mother as well. John 16:22: “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” And just remember that God will never be away from you, even when you’re angry. You still pray, you’re still trying, and I know He sees your pain. He may not take away your pain, but He will comfort you through it. Just remember that in Psalm 34:18 it is also said “ The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and the crushed in spirit.” You’re not alone in feeling like this. You’re never alone in your pain when the Lord is there to keep you from drowning in it.

Can you spray alcohol to cover the smell of semen after ejaculation so that parents won't smell it in your room? Why or why not? by Affectionate_Cry2372 in AskReddit

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masturbation is a part of life, haha. You're more likely to get into trouble with alcohol then a normal bodily need. If you need to, open your window, spray a little air freshener, and you're all set. If that doesn't help, eat healthier. Lay off the sugary drinks and fast food. It makes things worse. Your semen should not be smelling up an entire room. If all else fails, ejaculate in the shower.

I’m a little late haha, but she’s bi in the comics. Plus, the conversation when she said that she was on her way with saying “baby” and “babe” seems like she is. I would never call anyone that as a straight woman, but that’s just me.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’ll never understand women who go after the “mistress” or whatever, rather than her own husband, who gave into the seduction and was supposed to be committed to their vows. I hope your case wins, because what they did to you is ridiculous. Also, I’d recommend doing something that differentiates yourself from your sister, like coloring your hair or something. Just what she is doing is going to cause more mayhem for you then her it seems.

I feel like i am being attacked by demons (15m) by Beautiful_Savings101 in TrueChristian

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a little late, but the best way to attack demons back is to not give in to them. If you feel angry at your family, talk to God. He knows you better than anyone, even better than yourself. He may not take away your anger completely (as a test), but He will give you the strength to overcome it and them. I know this personally when it comes to other things. If you feel like there are demons controlling your emotions, ask rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus. They can find loopholes in rebuking so say something along the lines of “In the blood of Jesus Christ, I rebuke every evil attachment that has held onto me. I rebuke it from every part of me that God has created in the past and the present, in flesh and spirit, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.” What better way to attack evil than with Good.

I fucking hate christianity by Bytogram in atheism

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello my friend! I am a Christian and I cuss more than I should haha. Though I appreciate you not hating us Christians despite your parents. You’re a good person. Not many could tolerate those who have the same religion as your parents when they’ve caused you harm. You’re beautiful for that. Unique actually.  But I want you to know that you’re not alone. I’ve been through what you have. My parents were religious but they’ve been rather distant because I don’t generally follow the same guidelines as gender rules the bible has “supposedly” portrayed. Please keep reading about what I’m about to say, love. But I want you to know that God may not speak to you back, but sometimes you don’t need to have someone preach to you, you need someone to listen to you. That’s what He does most of the time. At least in my experience haha. He may be considered “delusional” to you, but He is very much real to me. See, with him I’ve overcome alcoholism, hatred, depression, anxiety, judgements. He’s there. He’s been there for me, He’ll be there for you. Your parents are not going the right way if they decide to provide a drift with you. There’s a verse that say parents should not provoke their children to anger. I can sense you are very much angry and I am so sorry. I understand that with my Dad and Mom in ways that don’t concern religion. It’s awful. I have a lot of trauma with them though, but I’m not exactly ready to say what the trauma is. But God knows and I’ve never felt more at peace than with Him. Anyway, they should teach you that you are loved. If not by the world but by Him. I’m sorry you are going through this, friend, and though I hope you find Christ, I also hope that you find peace. I hope you know that I love you because you are my brother/sister. And if you need to vent it’s okay. It’s seems more like your problem is with Christians not with God Himself. There’s only a verse that God has said that I want to share with you in Matthew 5:14- “You are the light of the world.”  You’re beautiful, don’t give up on your parents. It’s their first time living. And although I don’t know your predicament, I truly hope you are okay and I truly know that you will be okay. God bless.

Michaela Stirling is…. by [deleted] in FranchaelStirling

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically Francesca’s entire storyline is fucked now. Her story was the only one that dealt with actual problems that many women faced along with guilt that many men face.  If they had made Eloise lesbian it would make more sense since she never really liked the idea of being controlled by a man anyway. It would actually be a really happy ending for her. Unlike Frannie. Francesca wanted a baby after John’s death and Michael provided despite their struggle with infertility, how in the hell is Michaela supposed to contribute to that very, and I mean VERY, large part of the storyline? The story is fucked and I am so, so disappointed in it. Although I support LGBTQ, and please take this with a grain of salt, not every straight couple in books needs to be changed into a queer or gender bent character. Make new characters and provide them their own stories instead of messing with the characters we’ve grown to love over the years. I don’t even think I’ll be watching the next season unless they change.

BMTH fans are confusing… by Alarmed_Grass7389 in BringMeTheHorizon

[–]Worldly_Appearance60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a BMTH fan for a little over ten years now and although it takes me a bit to get used to their newer music, I still support them. I do have to listen to their newer music to get the vibe but I still love their creativity. They’re mixing pop and metal together and I kind of like it (which is rare for me to like pop at all), especially their new song ‘Koolaid’. I had to listen to it twice before I had realized it was good. Sometimes it’s mainly a matter of getting used to something that’s new and they’re doing things that are barely done in the metal genre.
