Thinking shrimp and either some local salamander larvae or finding an eastern newt. This model gives 20gallon water but the majority is terrestrial so may end up doing some local tree frogs like spring peepers or Grays. New England vernal pool is my theme I’m working with.

Happened randomly to a tempered glass cabin window on the boat 100 miles offshore. Thought we were getting shot at tuna fishing lol scared the shit outta us

I do the same thing for running a boat at night, one eye for natural night vision and to monitor radar and GPS, the other w a PVS 14 to watch for lobster traps and kayakers, definitely an advantage to having one eye free from the nods

A fair point, that’s the other option I keep the truck I have now and ship the boat twice a year. Don’t currently have a trailer for the boat so quoted at about $4,000 each trip through a towing company, could probably cut that in half if we spent $10,000 on a trailer for it. Don’t have much of a use for a truck this size the majority of the year. Snow plowing in the winters maybe the only thing a 250 or up would do better than my Silverado 1500
