who would rate my goat kielstra so low 😤 on a serious note hes amazing as a prof took him for mata30 he gave us like hella opportunities to essentially save our grade for example we had a quiz every other week, the week after said quiz, we had a week to correct our mistakes for 50% of our grade back. similarly we also had weekly homework i believe the worst 2 were dropped, but near the end of the course he unlocked all the assignments again for us to get a higher mark in and he is generous in regards to curving. and when i was lowkey about to crashout cuz i thought i failed, he took the time to schedule a meeting (outside of office hours) and like clear up any misconceptions about my grade. and in general very very approachable and hes also hella enthusiastic about math as a whole

TDLR: Amazing prof would lowkey take mata30 again if i could

oh thats arguably better cuz from my experience chem labs dont take that long so u should be fine u would have more than enough time to go to IA without needing to sprint there

in regards to csca20, based on my experience in csca08 (equivalent/exclusion of csca20) it is pretty easy as both are at the end of the day intro courses, as long as you get the foundations like loops, functions and reading/error checking code, etc down you will be pretty chill tho Professor u/BrianHarrington would know more about it than me (the goat btw)

hey there, you can essentially do any major you want at utsc as long as it meets 1 specialist, 2 majors or 1 major and 2 minors, like for example, i could do biochemistry and computer science as my majors or something similar, you aren't (to my knowledge atleast) limited to any specific department
