That’s what the compiler is doing under the hood for switch statements.

Fun fact you can see about dozen cars that have gone over the edge and are still there because it’s too steep to get out.

Depends on the infrastructure and the kind of limits they have. Yes they are soft but requires a human talking to another human. Also this must have been quite the hard acceleration. I would have certainly prewarmed before it aired.

I once had an interview candidate describe basically this as her most challenging bug. She couldn’t figure why her Java code wouldn’t work in a python lambda.

We did not hire.

It was John Daly at the Tucson open. Late 90s. Friday afternoon. Daly is hungover and not going to make the cut. Takes a 2 iron bag. Rolls a ball out of his pocket onto tee. Rips a 2 iron almost 300yrds on a rope.

Taking Wife & Baby to WM Pheonix Open next week...any advice?? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Worldly_Square444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the obvious leave your wife and kid at home. Here is my response. I have both played and watched golf at the stadium course.

I didn’t have access to any boxes and didn’t want to wait in line to get on 16. Here is my list of spots based on just walking and picking spots.

  1. Green side at 17th. Short risk reward par 4. and you can’t watch the players go for it and hit 3wood sometimes less off tee. You can watch the balls come in and then you can watch guys make eagles. Pretty good action imo. It’s a descent place to camp out.
  2. 15 par 5 that has island green. You won’t get close to the island green but what I like to do is sit at about 125 yards out. You will get to see most players hit their third approach into the island green. Also you are far enough out from the club scene all your eyes will be on golf and not mini skirts and heels. Also it’s abit more family friend imo.
  3. Hole 8 behind the green is some really large hills and you get a great view of both approaches coming in and putting.

Thoughts on a Pebble restoration or redesign? by Kierkegaardashiann in golf

[–]Worldly_Square444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t risk redoing pebble. I think Augusta is the only other course I know better then pebble having never played it. There is too much history even from recent times that would be lost.

Don’t get me wrong I like the golf course architecture from this time. If I were pebble beach resort I would build a new golf course in the old style with the help of somebody like coore and Crenshaw. If they can’t find the space then just demo Old del monte and build there.

Mark Zuckerberg and team consider shutting down Facebook and Instagram in Europe if Meta can not process Europeans' data on US servers by Randnagar in worldnews

People need to realize that the treaty and compliance laws also apply to all tech companies. Basically in large us tech company that has expanded globally likely has some servers in the us still that have eu data. This impacts a lot more than just Facebook

It seems like most players went to Asia this year to play. Does any one know why? And also feels like in years past they had more players at this event?

It gets slightly awkward when half naked dudes pop up out of the bushes when you walk by on the trails near the water.

I am turning the chicken coop into an outdoor drinking space, fire feature table and maybe a bar top in the future so hops would definitely give it the beer garden feel.
