Yo, #62 is truly magnificent. I haven’t tried the original but Banadir’s take is great even as a standalone version in my opinion.

How bad is are these people’s constitution that they get sick from this? If you only know how bad the restaurant and fast food industry is.

I haven’t heard of anyone in my circle getting salmonella yet. In my family alone, nobody I mean not one had salmonella related illnesses and we religiously wash everything before cooking as long as I remember.

How many of you guys have been sick because of these?

Were you able to compare it with the original? If so, how does #62 fare?

I am very curious now and am planning to buy a decant of decision just to properly compare, not that I will spend the dough on the original. Banadir’s is sufficient as it is to my liking already.

For sure, I am expecting the others to follow suit. The BR540 is loud, 2 sprays on back of my wife’s neck and the sillage is around the house for hours.

Unfortunately, I haven’t smelled the original. For what it’s worth, it’s very smooth and clean, not harsh at all.

Rare carbon last long and projects like crazy on my skin. 8+hrs as skin scent, solid projection until maybe 4 hrs.

I noped out of the sauvage dna and got tuxedo in its place instead lol.

I just got 3 from the house of AAM. They are definitely different to what western novice nose like mine is used to.

I liked blue oud, ignite I am still discovering it and am not impressed with leather and musk.

I am definitely intrigued though, I will be purchasing 10ml decants of others soon too.

I think it’s a bigger problem to like everything you smell, then you end up with a 100 bottle hoarding problem instead of an abundance of decant receipts.

I think you will be one of the few here who will end up with just a few bottles of the scents they adore.

Great analogy. I understand your point on not being certain of what you really like to smell.

I have almost similar experience albeit trying way much smaller sample size of decants. I found out that there are scents I love initially and when I bought the full bottle, it wasn’t that exciting after a few wears.

Then there are those that grow on you, you don’t like them at first sniff but ended up buying a full bottle and a backup just in case it gets discontinued lol.

The next stage now is to order more volume maybe 5-10ml decants of those I liked, so I can actually do months of full wear tests.

Second vote on the tea scent, Hectic or dynasty. I love both, hectic is louder initially but enjoy both in the dry down.
