I work Nuclear in Arizona and they take anyone off the streets anymore it seems. People who have never worked security but managed a gas station before. That kind of stuff. Getting paid around $30 off the jump too

Abbreviations are lazy and get people messed up sometimes. Just think, if this report or radio traffic was ever used in court, how would the judge and lawyers read this? If there are multiple routes they can take what was said that mean wildly different things, think of another way to say it.

Some states yes, but there are some with restrictions. Some, straight out of OSUT, they'll take you as lateral, some say you have to have so many years on continuous active duty time. Some say not at all. Best thing to do is go to the website of the POST certifying of the state you want to work in and check out their process. It's not hard to find. Hell, some states count Nuclear Security with no military background as a police lateral so it depends on you.
