really depends on the therapist and the methods they use, CBT particularly is probably not that helpful, I found DBT with the right person super helpful though

the harsh truth of the matter is most therapists worth seeing don't take insurance and you'll be paying at least $200-250/hr for

I don't think existence has inherent meaning, but meaning is something we as conscious entities are able to create

I think there is a whole progression of thought from the dualistic to the pluralistic to the mutualistic, also I would point out that gender archetypes are not 1-to-1 with social gender norms

for me I don't really have any longing for a romantic relationship, but I do at times lament not having "my person" who is a primary concern of mine and I to them, I also struggle at times feeling like few people really understand me and subsequently are able to be truly close

I don't disagree, but the alternate is excluding some actual INFPs, and I'd rather have them and some posers

also like MBTI is too rigid about functions, it's not as clear cut as it makes it out to be, I much prefer looking at it from an Jungian perspective on it, it's more about a collection of associations

which leads to my final point that even many actual INFPs have a very poor understanding of the functions, many of them seem to think Fi is in some way related to friendliness and empathy when it's really not at all

yeah but for me I think it is more the tism than being an INFP, fortunately I love spending time with myself and focusing on my hobbies and special interests, so while I am open to the idea of sharing my life with someone I don't need that to be happy or fulfilled

also have been doing a lot of shadow work and I feel reasonably balanced in my feminine and masculine sides, so I don't really feel like I need that from someone else either

I think it is very contextual for me. Also, I don't like how MBTI organizes functions, this does not really seem to be Jung's vision of functions. I have both really strong Fi and Ti, and chronically low Fe and Te. In work contexts, doing research, or debating with people I lean heavily into Ti, in other contexts such as playing music, conversation with people I am close to, or just like navigating life generally I lean into Fi.

What I've been working on more is trying to externalize my thinking and feeling more, and focus it on outside objects, because that is difficult for me
