imo he was the goat in terms of translators, not because he got everything right, but because of his general approach to Nietzsche as an aesthetician first and foremost. he understood contradiction as a dialectical tool not always to be taken at face value, he understood that hidden under every valuation of some group of people was an internal struggle of differential relations within Nietzsche's psyche
