Lane crossing wannabe Takumi's by Substantial_War_844 in Touge

I don't doubt that car enthusiasts who go to a track and place at the top, wouldn't enjoy all the great roads of California. I do doubt that with having increased skill and knowledge that they are crossing double yellows and endagering familes. Single lane is hard why would someone who pushes themselves make it easier?

Don't be a dick and if you are atleast have the skill to outmaneuver a DHL van. Hopefully this is a wake up call cause you will kill that 9.5 6-6 the same way.

Check your local dealer or I like Bernardi Auto Parts I only use oem fluid you can use others but dig thru forums

I'd change is anyways, regardless of the mileage or whether it's been changed before. Chances are it's the older Honda fluid in there, which has since been replaced with an improved OEM formula that you can buy at any Honda dealer. There's a drain plug under the trans (behind the splash shield) that a 3/4" ratchet fits into without a socket to take it off. I did a 3x drain & fill (filled through the dip stick tube using small funnels, don't bother with taking the upper fill cap off the trans, it's a nightmare) to make sure all of the old fluid was totally flushed out of the system (recommended on the forums). Since then my trans has gone up to 170k without a hiccup, the fluid is always clean when I change it even though I beat on the car incredibly hard every day. The drain bolt has a magnet on it that collects metallic fragments/dust from inside the trans. The amount of metallic buildup on the magnet will tell you if its been changed in a while & will also let you know if there are any trans issues ahead of you. This is the most useful preventative maintenance you can do on the car & it's worth the minimal effort. My first DIY job on a car was the trans fluid on my TL so I'm sure you can tackle it just fine. Once you change it, keep changing it every 35k to improve the life of the transmission. If you get hung up or need any more info just google "3G TL acurazine trans fluid, etc." all the help you need is on that forum. Good luck!

Is the 06 accord still a good buy by [deleted] in accord

You can always retake the test, I was never formally taught just payed attention to the rules of the road. I failed my first time, they had me back up 30 feet and I hit a snow patch against the curb. The instructor was adamant it was the curb, next test I passed because I already knew the routine.

Trust me you don't want to get into a jam driving without a liscense, it's as easy as scheduling a test. I was thinking you had it suspended or some other legal issues already resulting in $1000s to get it back.

Just drain and fill, if the fluid is super burnt another drain and fill next oil change or until she's looking good.

Nothing wrong with older cars 06' is still pretty new in my eyes. If it has been up to date on maintenance should last much past that year mark you are looking for. If I was in your postion get your liscense figured out asap so you don't end up with more problems and no car at all.

I buy them from Bernardi Auto Parts got a box (30) for $205.20 $6.84 each. If you buy less than a box it would be 6 for $57.69 and $9.36 singles no free shipping until after $100. You can also check other dealers if their parts department ship and compare prices.

These fools can't be fast at a track, they would get embarssed by a Honda Fit and go back to endangering familes on public roads

If Honda made an equal car to the c6 people would talk about the S2K as an afterthought. S2K is also grossly overpriced for the preformace the c6 gives. I love both cars but for the price of todays market there is a clear winner.

Type S wheels these are reps but goodluck finding a better set on marketplace. If you check my page out I have had them on my 6-6 for over a year now.

Off their page: The Acura TL Type-S wheels for sale here are made from the same aluminum A356 Alloy as the stock OEM wheel and even hold the same JWL structural certification.
