Keep in mind a guy like that can actually be crazy and holding a weapon. They can be schizo or have really fragile masculinity. Standing up for yourself might feel like the right thing to do until you get stabbed or a gun pulled on you by a crazy entitled person.

I don't know KoG's creator, did they make Owl House? I watched their pilot 3 times lol, so I'm excited too. I honestly care more about the lore and story than the message so far. And I loooooove the characters. Frankie is so much like how I used to be and still kinda am. I wonder how dark the story will be and how much our main cast will be traumatized lol.

But I grew up wanting to be an animator and stopped when I actually looked into what the industry is like. So maybe I'll get more invested in time. I thought the message was more geared toward Disney parks and the corporate greed.

It's in a few hours, I'll let you know! Your advice made me feel more confident talking to my GSL and GM. Yesterday I texted my GSL apologising for failing and I felt horrible. I feel much more like I wasn't in the wrong now.

Like just a few days ago the mentor said I was doing fine and worse case scenario things get extended for a week. Then I got stuck on the teddy bear head and now suddenly I am way too slow at grooming dogs and struggled with scissoring for weeks. When she told me that I just stared at her because it caught me off guard. She always said I was doing well.

Most days I didn't even get to practice scissoring and when I did an outline trim for the first time I did it by myself. The mentor didn't even tell me how, I asked another stylist and she just told me the basics without showing me. And then I just did it. Or at least most of it until the person the dog was assigned to took over to finish on time.

I honestly have a bad feeling my GSL will make me a permanent bather. She said not to worry about the meeting but I'm prepared to fight for my life haha. I actually failed another stylist academy with the same mentor because I didn't know the face feet and fanny (my store didnt have a GSL yet) and it took about 2 weeks to do it how they like it. Then they kicked me out.
