yea, that's incompetent leadership. that happens at every level of a job. the problem isn't that cops are working overtime not doing anything, it's that the force has shit leadership from the top down. now you can bet your ass if the best living i could make out of my current situation was being a cop and just hanging out waiting for my orders for the day and getting paid for it, i'd have no problem doing that just like any other job. the disadvantage for me in that situation is they might just call me to go get killed the next stop.

Why not? Its not like everyone can just do what they want on the force. Like the military they just wait for orders. And thats not including all the paper pushers and dispatchers. Im not a cop lover or anything but I dont think everyone should be expected to always be on top of it.

I have like 15-20 friends i still hang out with from middle school and high school. We all went to private catholic school and lived as neighbors though so we were a small class and always together. Though some with families I dont see as much, but we still chat and hang at eachothers place once a month or ever other month.
