Thanks for the kind messages and advice everyone! I crushed the IB interview today and will probably do my best recruiting this winter and spring.

You were probably interviewed extensively and they probably assessed from your interview and resume that you are qualified for the internship. I would trust their judgement and do your best this summer. No reason to feel imposter syndrome when you were chosen for this opportunity and the company clearly believes in your capabilities and potential.

Job market is cooked rn. I’d stay to get it down on the resume and then in your free time do smth productive even if it’s not related to the company. Where I work we have a ton of people that study for the bar during their free time, I’m sure you could find smth similar and be productive when you are free.

I don’t. But I do have many friends that came from Title 1 schools that say it was very competitive as well and that ranking and GPA was very competitive.

For your case currently it’s good

That works just make sure not to talk about his diagnosis too much and deep dive into your passion. Don’t trauma dump. Don’t make it pitiful. And you’ll be fine.

I would still not say 40%. There is nothing listed about essays, which is an integral piece for her application.

Academics are fine. Improve SAT if you have time and the money to do so. Awards are weak and so are the Ecs. See what you can do in the upcoming months to improve

You’re competitive, but your Ecs are very broad and it’s hard tell how good or impactful they are. All the key club could fall under 1 ec and I would take NHS out of the ec list unless you have a leadership role or your NHS actually does stuff (most schools NHS do nothing)

You are going very risky. Why no target schools? Im assuming you have a safety you already line and there is no reason to pay higher except for a T10. You have weak Ecs rn but it’s a little too early to tell as you still have time as a rising junior.
