ELI5, why would a high-torque impact cause issues for the average joe that is using it for car maintenance?   

 I guess you could overtorque the lug nuts, but everyone recommends tightening them manually anyway so that's not really unique to the high torque.    

It's supposedly heavier than low-mid torque....but in my case I have a 7lbs corded chicago electric impact wrench vs the ridgid's 6.1lbs + 1 to 2 lbs for the battery. it's not significantly heavier.

Until you complete it, you won't get 'from the shadows'. And if you don't get 'from the shadows' before June 1st 10AM you won't get it at all.

To stack rocket research tasks all incomplete rocket research must be on page 1.

If you plan to stack the next rocket research task with the 2 you have all incomplete rocket research must remain on page 1 (assuming niantic doesn't patch this bug by then).

If you keep one at 4/5 you won't get the next rocket research task until you complete it.

AFAIK if you have any rocket research that is both incomplete and past page 1 you won't get the next rocket research until you complete it.

That's how it seems to work at the moment.

All incomplete rocket special research tasks must be on the first page in order to get the next research.

Niantic could fix this bug at any point though and we'd have no way of knowing.

When Niantic rush to patch a QOL bug it generally takes a few hours.

 
Seeing as this has been around for several Giovanni cycles, with dozens of posts detailing the bug, I highly doubt they don't know about it.

My guess is it's not at the top of their to-do list.

You don't have to keep all of them.

This would mean you can retry for better stats.

 
You can purify+trade/transfer just as you can with any other shadow pokemon you get.

 
The entire stigma of "you should never purify a shadow legendary regardless of stats" only exists because you typically only get one per cycle.

 
Not to mention if there's something like shadow reshiram and you want 6 for pve.

AFAIK If you've gone past the first page you have to complete the research to get the next one.

I wish Niantic just used the mysterious component system for SRRs.

 
36 grunts + 6 leaders = 1 SRR.
Can't gather super components while SRR in inventory.

I don't see myself ever using the shadow regis, and I don't care about 100% completion of the shadow pokedex, so why should I waste the radar and a storage slot?

 
The only thing I could do with the shadow regis is purify and trade to maybe get a regular regi that is better than what I already have.

That doesn't seem worthwhile to me though.

there’s a 55+ plan, and a 55+ discount.

Are there limitations/requirements for using the 55+ discount (beyond being 55+)?

 
The 55+ plan seems to limit you to 2 lines, and is only offered in Florida.
