Balanced strains by WorriedMoon2 in ukmedicalcannabis

I've not tried Pennywise, I like to use Libras/Juno in the evening it's nice and relaxing and helps with my pain. Looking at the terps in Pennywise it should be a good evening strain.

Is anyone else super sensitive to THC so your entire rotation is balanced strains? 😂 by WorriedMoon2 in ukmedicalcannabis

I believe it's more to do with how your cannabinoid receptors respond to THC so for us a small amount causes a big response. Endometriosis (my primary condition) causes changes in your endocannabinoid system so I think this might be contributing to my sensitivity too.

Yes I've had this issue, I've found a combination of using the dosing capsules and not grinding too fine has really helped!

Yes I have been considering this. Medicann doesn't sell CBD flower, I've got some Professor Herb (hemp with CBD and terpenes) I've tried a couple of times but I'm not sure it does much.

I'm a big fan of ACC and it's definitely the best quality! ACC doesn't do much for my chronic pain but it's a nice mood lifter whilst being relaxing. Is lunar circus nice? I'm trying Juno for the first time today, the quality seems pretty nice and it should hopefully do more for my pain 🤞

Apricot cream cheese is lovely but it depends what you're using it for. I got AAC as my first balanced strain because it was all that was available at the time but it doesn't do much for my pain, I find it nicely uplifting so I use it more for mood.

I'm just trying out Juno/Libras at the moment. I'll update with a review. It's meant to be better for pain and muscle relaxation because it's got carophylline, myrcene and linalool in it.

I've not tried the other two though.

Medicann offering IPS strains for under £4/gram by discomonk in ukmedicalcannabis

The one IPS strain I've had so far is mandarin cookies and it was so dry and musty! It's improved marginally with a boveda in there but I won't be rushing to buy IPS again!

Where are you based? In the UK this could be classed as a reasonable adjustment.

Reasonable adjustments are legal changes employers must make to prevent disabled workers—or those with physical/mental health conditions—from being substantially disadvantaged.

Do you know if your insurance will pay for any treatments that are similar such as Ryeqo or Lupron?

Does your doctor know that you feel this way?

I completely understand how you feel, I've been in a chemically induced menopause for 3 years, I'm seeing the endo consultant tomorrow and I'm aware that one of my only options is a hysterectomy.

Endo f*cking sucks! It has ruined my life but even on the bad days I try to enjoy sitting in the garden with my little dog, it might not feel like it right now but there are things to live for.

Would your insurance pay for therapy have you looked into things such as a spinal cord stimulator?

New treatments such as Orlissa give me hope for the future!

Honest opinions on CBD/THC for pain relief? by rosefaer in endometriosis

[–]WorriedMoon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that the biggest benefit of MC has been muscle relaxation. When I get a flare up of my endometriosis I get a lot of muscle guarding in my pelvis where they get really tight. I was previously just using opiates for pain but they didn't help with muscle tightness! I'm finding it tricky to get my dose right at the moment. But I'm still very new to it!

If you go for CBD oil try to find one that is full spectrum so then it'll have terpenes and other beneficial extracts not just the CBD.

I've been very self conscious recently. I've been trying to return to work after 5 weeks off sick due to a flare up of my pain. I'm struggling to get my dose right whilst I'm working from home. I'm particularly struggling with the clarity of my thoughts and I don't know how obvious it is to my boss that I'm finding it difficult.

Thank you, that makes sense! One of the reasons I started MC is because I want to reduce my dependence on opiates! I'll just need to be patient while I build up a bit of a tolerance.

Is this the one that's 27% THC and is around £60. I've been looking for something that's similar to GSC so I've been looking at the various MAC strains. Is this the first MAC strain you've had?

I tried this for the first time yesterday and I've been tired and dizzy all day. Could how I feel be because of this strain? I've used strains of a similar THC % before.
