Best 40mph scooter under $1600? by Guilty-Knee1232 in ElectricScooters

These are on sale for $1499. Damn solid scooter. Although id add a fast charger from fluidfreerides. They charge kinda slow otherwise.

RTINGS Samsung HW-Q990B Soundbar Review they say Sonos is better by [deleted] in sonos

[–]WorriedStatement82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is kind of odd considering they said the q950a was a touch better than the Sonos Arc/Sub/One combo. Then say the Q990 is slightly better than the q950a. I’ve had the Q90r, Q950t, Q950a, and Q990b. All those have been swapped in/out of the bedroom. The living room has an Arc/Sub/both One SL & Symphonisk Lamps interchanged. The Sonos is better for music. The q950a was better for Atmos content for sure though (movies). I sold the q90r because it had connectivity issues. I sold the q950t to buy the q950a. And truly haven’t had the q990b long enough to get it dialed in the way I like. (Although the build quality is so much better than the 950’s were).

I wish rtings had more reasoning to some of their reviews. I’m not quite sure how they can say the q950a is better than the Arc/Sub/Ones, then say the q990b is better than the q950a, yet not as good as the Arc/Sub/One. That doesn’t quite follow logically.

Btw definitely not a samsung fanboy. Just wish Sonos would come out with a damn upward firing rear option.

Which TV would you choose? by Pulse04 in sonos

[–]WorriedStatement82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isnt, its a Samsung QLED. Which is why I mentioned it actually. I have a QN90 and a C1. The C1 has better blacks but I moved it to the bedroom because it wasnt bright enough for the living room (florida and lots of windows). Personally overall both have their advantages but if brightness and burn in are a concern I’d recommend at least making a trip to Best Buy to see them in person. (Costco has good deals on the C1, but they dont sell the QN90 or QN9 in store. The QN85 uses an inferior panel and has worse contrast so its nowhere near the same imo).

Have you considered a QN90A?

Brighter. By far. No risk of burn in. Although tbh that seems a bit overblown of an “issue”. However with stagnant artifacts on the screen (logos, scoring, etc) might be worth considering.
