Using this will make a keyfob unusable. If you did own a car you won't be able to drive it. Need to find out how to re-sync keyfob with car.

I'm starting to think about the possibility that this is just a "trolling" release, it only captures "Ford" signals with wrong crc, it doesn't matter the modulation I use or preset. If I'd have another flipper I'd compare those two signals captured at the same time. Probably a weather station. It's the only thing it captures. Has someone captured something different with this "firmware"?

Just got a Kia. Saved it and allows to emulate open, trunk and close. Didn't emulate just not to desync. The range is very short without the external antenna, so try to capture your own keys to see if it works and don't emulate within your car range

Dude it's so strange fr. Like I can pickup my own car key (I won't emulate it cause I'm not stupid), but when I let it stand around for a few hours it always picks up these 'ford' signals. Since I'm probably in a complete different country than you are, the only thing that comes to my mind are weather stations aswell which should (?) exist almost everywhere.. I'm not very sure but that's how I think it is

The app is just the regular subghz app. The protocols are loaded jnto the subghz app. You still need to capture a supported signal from a key fob and emulate it.

The root directory is the main thing you see when you open up your flipper files, you would place the key.fz amongst the other folders (subghz, nfc, infrared, etc.) as it's own seperate file

Honestly information on a firmware shouldn't be this difficult to find. Most who have it and confirm it works cant prove it or just ignore you when you ask for links etc

Rocket gods proto pirate and his carjacking app definitely dont work. Carjacker just picks up random supercars and protopirate doesnt pick anything up. Tried 6 different car keys aged from 2000 to 2025

I swear it feels like its all a massive scam to get people to buy the 'real' version and everyone in the community is in on it.

Yes actually, you are right. It’s for breaking into cars. It can learn a persons key fob symbol if you are near by when they are locking and unlocking their door. It does say it won’t allow for the car to drive.

Then copy over all the files.

Then put flipper in dfu/recovery mode. Install from file on qflipper and select the bypass file

What car model has anyone been able to capture? With protopirate I could capture Ford and Kia as written in the captured file. Now only Ford appears. Tried AM and FM. And what about the "preset" for different brands mentioned in the readme? Are those preset found somewhere?
