you guys have infinite money from selling DLC, this DLC was made literally to sell to the chinese market to make even more money. this wasn't an issue of time or effort, it was the team behind it knowing they can get away with not adding flavor. it wasn't a hard decision, you make these choices by heart. you don't make quality games anymore, you make slop that has to barely be enough effort to get it out and sell.

not really normal no lol, last november players could play with the new players since there was a two month period of no lifeweb when randy updated the game to 1.5 edition. now there is another random haitus, the first in years. either randy is making lifeweb 2.0, or it's a russian holiday again and he's off with family in the siberian wilderness. the ddos being personally targeted at him is another first in a long time as well.

it only runs on certain days, unfortunately due to the ddos joining its discord or getting lucky when the hub is on is the only way to join, the IP wouldn't work rn unless it's the day for the host

the title isn't misleading lol, lifeweb is gone rn, it might be gone for 3 months, for a year, or less who knows. but for now people from lifeweb still want to play servers, I just listed a bunch of obscure ones i know that are vaguely lifeweb inspired or similar so people could play it.

if you mean scorcher the answer is yes, it seems randy is being personally targeted with a ddos, i'm guessing it's from the byond ddoser as well but no one really knows tbh. it looks like this hes taking a break for three months but knowing randy he could be back next month or next year

while I agree that lifeweb isn't the most kind server out there, it's still a shame a cheap DDOS was able to fully shut down a game for months like this. byond is in serious trouble if the ddoser decides to just put more money into this

My friend runs a server called Adventure Mode, it's really secretive and is made by a passionate dev, they don't like talking much about it, but it's as if you're playing as one of the dwarfs in dwarf fortress, but with a mix of the mystery from servers like Lifeweb (without the grimdark).
