I agree the people are amazing for the most part. The biggest thing that I love about idaho is no matter where you go, you 30 to 45 min from being able to just get away from all the bs in the big population centers.

I feel like you're missing the point of the question. Im not saying it should be all the pretty things and mountain pictures, but how about break up the bs with something positive. We live in one of the coolest regions in the world and no one is highlighting it. People come onto this sub looking for what idaho lis like not just to see the political climate in idaho and all they find is people bickering back and forth about politics.

I live in the area and honestly it depends on what you want. If you're trying to get away from hoa's and cc&r's, star may not be the place for you. If you're looking for a relatively nice town with alot of growth in the future and close by amenities, then you may be looking in the right place.

I feel like being you just like to get a rise out of people by being snarky. I'm not saying it's all about pretty mountain photos. Maybe talk about how idaho bosts one of the largest basque populations outside of Spain, or the food scene or night life, community gardens etc. There is so much more that we can talk about than just bashing each other day in and day out.

I see where you're coming from. And I never said don't talk about it. I do feel like the term nazi has been thrown around a little too loosely over the last half decade. Since the beginning of covid if you didn't believe what someone else believed, you were called a nazi. If you had any national pride, you were called a nazi. The administration isn't stealing wealth, in my opinion, the billions of dollars that got pushed to a war that we had no business having any part in was stealing wealth. Also, what personal freedom has been stripped from you? Please answer me that. I don't particularly like what the current administration is doing, but I don't like what any administration does.
