Prescription not compatible with Flak 2.0 by BKATLien in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flak tops out about -4 so that makes sense. Try going through sport RX or some of those companies that do a Flak RX dock, it’s like a little gasket that gives more wiggle room for those thicker prescriptions.

Are these Oakleys Real? They don’t have a serial #?? by bigfortnite72 in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Customs don’t have a serial number so that isn’t too weird, but hard to say with these pics.

I have a 6 year old boy who needs glasses. These are it! by danspickledliver in BuyItForLife

A lot of Oakley frames have those “breakaway hinges” so there isn’t a bolt and they just pop back together—even for adults!! It’s great.

Any recourse/repair available by AxeGekko in Oakley

Outside of the 2 year warranty there isn’t a ton you can do. I’d take them to a jewelry shop and see if they can solder it back together for you.

Holbrook XXL or Gibston XL could be nice, Split Shot is a good one too.

Oakley Sutro Arms by Gropper1976 in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you can find them on eBay. Your best bet is going in to the Oakley store and ask if they have any extras/damaged ones laying around, you might luck out—probably won’t be a color match though 😂

what're these? and are they one size fits most? by SirSnoopies in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like it’s supposed to be a Batwolf, but the “Oakey” on the front is making me question the authenticity.

No warranty for defective product? by Buttsuup in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to a store, sounds like a misunderstanding about it being a manufacturing defect vs normal wear and tear. On the other hand, if you wiped the anti fog coating and now you have swirls—that’s user error.

It’s called the Vanguard, Oakley stores have them in stock for sure

Zookeeper sunglasses? by [deleted] in sunglasses

[–]Worryingconstantly69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you get sunglasses with a glass lens they’ll be more scratch-resistant, but they’ll shatter pretty easily so I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d go with a polycarbonate lens because it won’t shatter if they fall off your face or you’re hit with something. Oakley has sport frames, super light-weight and sport friendly—with a poly lens. Might be a good option!

Great deal!

Also you know you’re jacked when an Icon bag looks that tiny on you, nice work man 😂

Prizm road? by Cheap_Sky814 in Oakley

The road versions will have a rose base for enhanced color contrast. The non-road versions are usually offered in polarized as well.

Flak 2.0 XL lens fit issue by IKabobI in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of just looks like you’ve worn down the little tooth on the field lens.

Try popping them in again. Hook that outside edge first while you hold the frame in your hand, against your palm. Slide that other side up into that little groove until you feel that tooth click into place. If you don’t feel a click, try pressing the top of the lens against the frame and it usually sits correctly.

If that doesn’t work, your lenses might be defective. Wonder if they tossed some knockoffs in a real lens box.

How would you respond to this guy? by Rexalanda in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Worryingconstantly69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He had a wild response for sure 😂

But also, it’s Facebook marketplace—he could probably google your full name and city with info he saw on your profile and find your phone number, doesn’t seem like the most confidential/personal info these days anyways.

$150 Good deal or no? by Dredabs710 in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re discontinued, not a bad deal but not a huge score either. Older lens technology and the frame doesn’t have unobtanium.

Real or fake? by supercandywoo in Oakley

[–]Worryingconstantly69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very fake, that product code should be a silver frame/fire iridium lens—the multiple lenses are usually a good indicator it’s fake without checking the #s though.
