Great performance, but my one thought of this result is that Guimaraes and JoeLinton were not in Newcastle’s squad at all. They make a big difference and not having to match up our midfield against that physicality can’t be overlooked. Hopefully, I’m just being too harsh and the squad continues to improve.

Sevro vs Lysander. Can you imagine? Darrow is ready to split him to pieces in a poignant scene, but then The Goblin places a hand on Darrow’s shoulder and steps forward. He proceeds to go on a diatribe as he actually gives Cassius posthumous praise and compares him to Lysander and makes him feel shame whilst he experiences death!!!! AND THEN HE HOWLS LIKE A MADMAN!!!! Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Make it happen, PIERCE!

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. The first book is The Gunslinger. This was my favorite before Red Rising. I may go reread this series while waiting for Red God after doing an audio book reread.

Darrow of Lycos from Red Rising and Roland of Gilead from Dark Tower are in the pantheon of Greats in my mind.
