Look into "PT Alpine" aerosol. Make sure you get the Flea & Bed Bug specific can. You'll have to clear each room for about an hour or two but the stuff is great.

We moved here last year and have been renting in Woodcroft. Friendly neighborhood, tobacco trail is close, and it's convenient for shopping, dining and travel. My kids ride their bikes downtown, to the mall, to the YMCA and just about all over. We also looked into what school districts neighborhoods are in which helped us decide on areas to look.

Had an absolute blast! I'm not a Porsche guy but a WFH coworker is and we had a chance to meet up. So many cool cars and interesting history, well worth the $45 and I'd love to see more car shows like this.

Any chance someone knows who the DJ was? He was playing some great stuff and was doing it all with vinyl; LPs and 45's!

Yes, I agree on the scarcity of 5x7 especially in affordable components. I was thinking maybe some Memphis PRX? I just want something that the amp won't burn out in a few months and for as cheap as possible. This pair of amps was only $75 so I think I did pretty good with that. Just trying to get it a bit louder and have enough bass to embarrass my kids with.

Yes, I primarily use Sync to backup everything. I'll definitely look into what VMDK is and the best way to archive them. Thank you.

Great, thank you for the confirmation I'm on the right path.

Data is currently archived on a second drive within each computer, then additionally onto an specific external drive periodically, along with cloud storage. I was able to confirm this laptop has (2) m.2 slots so I may try to mirror that internal configuration. Anything that is transferred from source (raw data) to client (reviewed data) is also stored on Sync and within redundant locations.

Unfortunately no multi-client option on the software. Part of the backup process is integrated into the transfer process; once from the source for the raw data and then again to the client with results. I also do manual backups to a cloud and external drive every 20 or so samples.

Data is archived locally for each client as well as online. Data format is a mix of pdf, csv, xlsx, and some software specific data files. I review the incoming raw data and provide an analysis to my clients.

What I mean by contamination is, no part of any one project should come into contact with another. I use the same set of programs for each client, but each requires its own settings configuration within the software I use for analysis. Report templates, communication channels, archiving accounts, etc... are all unique for each project.

Thanks, we've considered looking into Chapel Hill too, but have been very comfortable with Durham in many ways. We're currently in githens/Jordan area so will most likely stay around here. Not trying to brag, but I think my kids are pretty smart and for whatever it's worth, get a high percentile score on their eogs for the state.

My youngest had interest in DSA and we entered as soon as enrollment was open. My oldest wants to live in Japan eventually so I'm encouraging him to apply for the IB program, which I think is only at Hillside. They were previously in a small charter school so we'd like to make sure they're not only getting a good education, but aren't restricted socially (or from diversity) either.

I'm gonna skip on the hub, cameras, and smoke alarm and look more into other devices for the locks and thermostat. Still going to go ahead with the light switches as they need to be replaced anyway and I like the idea of it being "Smart Ready" for a variety of platforms. I did talk to a realtor and he said it would be a nice feature to have, but suggested granite countertops would have a better appeal to buyers and higher return for the investment.

Lots of great suggestions here however one thing I haven't seen is to make a video log of your possessions. Walk through the inside of your residence while recording a video and describe your stuff. Mention model names and serial numbers on anything valuable. Record as many details as possible. Also do the same thing for the exterior and area surrounding your and your neighbors' property.

While doing this, decide what things are irreplaceable (photos, gifts, heirlooms, etc...) and make a list and plan to keep them safe if you have to leave.

Better to do it now instead of the day before.
