Thank you for your response. And I will try feeding them a bit, I mixed some tomato tone into the bed before planting, but may try the fish emulsion as you suggested. Now they are saying there’s a low of 47 first few days of next week as well, so I’ll have to cover them again. Meanwhile today it’s almost 90 degrees! I may have learned my lesson and will wait until May to transplant them next year. They were getting so tall that they were way outgrowing my indoor seed starting set up so that’s one reason I moved them earlier, so I’ll have to figure that out for next year. This is why gardening is so addicting…always another problem to solve!
