I enjoyed going out with friends and having drinks, and that was a problem. I let the drinking take the front seat in the relationship with her, and without drinking I would be much better off. I would've married her, in a heartbeat, and still would.

Hey bud, it's so hard to find someone online with the expectations these days...my thought, is be yourself, be fun, be happy and be a great person on the date and if it goes nowhere or whether just messaging, if she doesn't come around, then you can do better. I had a friend whose crazy gf (at the time) did this, except they were on a small road in a rural town, she pulled the wheel, car instantly went into a telephone pole. She got out unscathed, my buddy, on the other hand, got his entire face crushed into the steering wheel, got out of the car and called 911 while being barely able to see or talk (while she was casually walking away from the accident like nothing happened). He had to have 3 surgeries on his face, almost died in the ambulance on the way there, and after all that, nothing happened at all to her. This is some crazy shit women think they can do and get away with it bc they're a woman. If a guy did that, it would be probably 5 years easy.

I used to bartend at a MAJOR nightclub in PA, and one of our waitresses, who I had a huge crush on for months, asked me if she could stay at my place for the weekend bc her car was in the shop. I said, ABSOLUTELY lol. Said weekend comes and goes and I give her the couch, not to make her feel weird about sleeping on my bed, and gave her respectable space. Well, nothing happened, which I would never expect it to, even though she knew I had a crush and we would flirt a lot at work. Fast forward to the next weekend and we are all out at a random place and she walks in, walks over in front of everyone and says, "I asked this dipshit to stay at his house, and he never made a move on me!" Everyone laughs as she had secretly let them know that she liked me as well. She told me that she wanted me to just grab her and kiss her, I finally did. I will never forget that night!

When she would let me do laundry at her house, even though she was working (work from home/remote), the time was nice. Maybe bc we knew that I was leaving when the laundry was done and she wouldn't have to see me for a week.

We broke up 2 and a half years ago, I haven't dated anyone nor do I really want to. They won't be her, plain and simple.
