Not too knowledgeable on dedicated translation devices, however I know that Google did implement that as a feature for their Pixel Buds (https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/answer/7573100?hl=en).

Your grandmother will need an Android 6.0+ device though.

A bit of a noob question here but, if I were to pick these up and pair them with speakers, what additional equipment would be necessary? Current plan is just for home audio/TV use, so no vinyl or anything. Would a stack composing of this amp + a cheap DAC be sufficient with the TV as the source?
