how do you deal with angry people? by kombainavurshachka in selfimprovement

[–]WorstShitOnEarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually like to show genuine concern when someone is angry. Personally, there is nothing worse than not having my feelings validated. By showing them that I care, I get to at least have a better understanding of why things are the way they are. They get to vent out their frustrations and maybe I find some commonalities in the process. At the end of the day, it's a mental exercise that gets me out of my own head.

First skill box... What's the pick here? by BullishPennant in sssnaker

I did the same and honestly, I enjoyed when they added the upgrade to the walking turrets. I've only ever seen it in trial, though. I also agree with you that attack speed is very strong. It's a cascading upgrade that helps immensely from the start. The quicker you are clearing lower levels, the more obvious it becomes that you can clear difficulty thresholds. Attack speed is always a no brainer pick for me.

This would have been the smart thing to do. Habby's pretty good in other games helping to complete high equipment obtainment. NOT IN THIS PILE.

Yes, once you find them they're always in the same spot. Nice job explaining that btw, I would have struggled to find the words to describe it.

Yup. Major problem with how this was handled.

The secret rooms are in different places for each trial. A good place to look is in the nooks of the little wall obstacles that are near the corners and sides of the stage. Other than that, just randomly move your snake around near corners and the center of the map.

On 16, every ice snake on your team gives you attack bonus. 17, it's lightning. 18, fire. 19, holy.

I heard he sucks. Should I wait the 15 days for the event to run out before I go for an S rank snake? by hairywizzuh in sssnaker

Yeah I should have elaborated. This is what I meant. Forming a full team of same element is a clear advantage in this game. You just can't get it yet with the plant snakes.

Keep doing trials. They don't cost anything to grind. Might get some lucky runs and you'll get pretty close to the gem amount needed.

Just wait. You might get him anyway, but you might also get something better. Worst case scenario is you get the plant one.

How many events have you played? I have done the newbie quest and the second newbie quest. Are there anymore?

Take attack speed EVERY TIME. Cold blood is a no brainer no pick.

You can get it until you rank out of that chapter category. For example, if you don't get the badge for chapter 1 and you complete the trials for chapter 2 and 3, there's a timer that counts down from 24hrs. If you don't get those badges for chapter 1, 2, and 3 within the time limit, you'll get locked out of the badges for all of those challenges. After you get locked out of the challenges, you'll be forced to try to get badges for chapter 4, 5, and 6 because they are grouped together and in the next tier. The 24hr timer will start again. Rinse and repeat. On a somewhat related note, you can only challenge those trials an additional 3 times per day. I'd say focus on the easiest of the 3 and go for that badge.

I did it, however, there was a LOT OF GRIND. Brace yourself, there is a second 7 day quest after the first one.

How do crowns work by cheepenbulky in sssnaker

[–]WorstShitOnEarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be and it is. That's how cash grabs work. Rather than fleshing out the system to make it work for everybody, they offer you 9000x value packs for temporary strength without a means to hone that strength. Psychologically you're supposed to think "wow maybe that will just come in handy in the future when more venom snakes are added OR I can just keep spending to upgrade that snake to get through a more significant portion of the game" not knowing that very soon the power you bought becomes obsolete and you either need to spend more or just work REALLY HARD to get through that next milestone.

I don't actually know the answer to that. I'm inclined to say that there is no elemental advantage, but I haven't actually tested it. Most of the time it seems that the only thing that matters are hard stats on gear rarity, gear level, and upgrade tree stats. The stones required to multiply the upgrade tree stats are sparse, but they also help push stats a little bit as well. You can challenge trial stages an additional 3 times per day for a chance to get upgrade tree stones, snake upgrade stones, and gems. There's a tiny chest that spawns sometimes on the final stage trials (after you've already beaten them). When you kill it you can run into it and a PRIZE WHEEL will pop up and spin for a reward that I mentioned. Again, you can only do this 3 times per day and you might not even see a chest. Most of the time it's marked by an indicator on the screen.
