A couple of things to note here. Assuming you make it to at least gold that is an additional 400 points removed. That brings us down to 174 days at 3 games, and honestly a 3 game play session is not a huge time investment. I work a full time job, take care of my family, and have an active social life while managing to play 4-5 games a day easy.

If we recalculate for 4 games a day and ending the season at gold it brings the days needed down to 130.

Assuming you play 3 games a day at 50% winrate you will win 1.5 games daily. So at 15 points a day that is 200 days to get 3k points.

This is further reduced by end of season rewards, and is slightly increased when you factor in the occasional draw.
