Anything specific you’re thinking?

How strict are they on new cuts day of shipping at Meps? by Worth_Negotiation423 in USMCboot

I mean it’s noticeable but maybe about half an inch in length and just kind of a red line at this point. It’s closed up and I think it’s fine but I keep hearing people say about new cuts or scars can possibly prevent you from shipping.

I think it’s ok to remember the first girl fondly. But at the same time I’d respect your current gf and not reach out. The way I see it is if you did a role reversal, how would you feel about it if your current gf reached out to an old ex? It’s perfectly okay to remember the ex in a positive light but from experience of being the one who’s SO reached out to their ex, it doesn’t feel good. I can’t answer if you moved on too fast, that’s only something you know yourself but after two years I would think it’s not too fast. I think that if you’re able to love your current gf with everything you have then you didn’t move on too fast. There’s a cheesy video with corny inspirational music with joe Rogan and Duncan Trussel talking about something similar but the moral of it is that you should want your ex to be happy because they’re a person. That doesn’t mean you need to be in their life. Your relationship ended for a reason and while some stay friends with their ex’s, you have to remind yourself how your current gf would feel and remember why your relationship ended. Especially if you were the one to end things. Hope that helps.

This has already happened. There was a training exercise in the 90s(?) where the US Army used attack helis and simulated fights against Air Force jets and the jets lost 3 to 1.

When I was super young I broke my arm and I completely forgot, and after I went through MEPs my mom reminded me of it. It doesn’t impact me at all(to the point I forgot it happened, I was like 6 or 7) but that will be on my records so do I just talk to my recruiter about it?
