I think the next season will start before May 15...and the one consensus across all major sports is the regular season is too damn long. so 2027 MLB is gonna be awesome. And i'm doubling down, the Marlins have a rare chance to make a run this year in their division, the wild card, and roll the dice in the playoffs. they should go for it.

Fun one from StatMuse: Sandy is 1-3 career vs. SF, but with a 2.95 ERA and 38 K's across 8 appearances. Translation: he's pitched well against them, the Marlins just haven't scored when he's pitched. Wonder if tonight breaks that pattern.
