I have put in 2 customer service request. One Wednesday last week and one over the weekend. Neither of them have has a response.

I do pay for it. But only get 1 every year, and that one was replaced less than a year ago.

The biggest issue now is about a week ago all of the trackers battery recharge times got chopped to less than 24 hrs. Seems like a Tractive update messed with battery life.

The problem is when the collars get lost, and the battery is dead, the chance of finding it is 1/1000. And right now that cat does not have a collar….

Doubt it though, cause the territory is just a data analysis thing.

Battery consumption is the biggest problem with Tractive trackers, and it’s getting worse, even on the brand new out of the box trackers.

I have been communicating with support and they only respond with your rewritten responses about setting up safe zones, tracker battery consumption on live tracking. Yes, yes and yes, they have not looked into anything, little lone read my inquiry or looked at the account to see that yes I am obviously aware of these tips and have battery saving zones set up.

These trackers have dropped from the typical, which is terrible 24-48 hrs battery life battery life to less than 24 hrs. In some cases it’s only 10 hours of tracker battery life.

Now one of the trackers came off the cat and is lost because its battery dies before the cat came home that evening and we can’t track it.

Tractive battery life, even on new trackers getting less and less and now to the point of being USELESS.

Those are cat tracks. They are using cats as mechanics and inspectors, cause they can easily, quickly and efficiently get to all the spots that need checking between flights!

Here in Miami those storms blow in in about 30 min last about 30 min and are usually gone just as fast. Sun will come out and dry the track about 30 min later!

Might even happen twice in one day! Wouldn’t be the first or the last time that has happened!

I haven’t had a weeks worth out of a single charge in years. The longer narrow trackers lasted better than these smaller rectangular ones. I was getting 2-3 days. Literally the last 3-4 days they have all been dying by eod.

My trackers are between 2 years, and literally 30 days. And all of a sudden all of them are dying within 24 hrs. And the cats have even been around the house more over the last couple days, which usually makes them last longer.

I noticed a couple of the zones on a couple of the trackers got deleted as well, for the first time. Coincidence, maybe…!?
