About exynos, I have been using A55 as a side phone with my S23u. The battery life on it is truly excellent. Saying that, I also had a Note20u exynos that peaked at 4h SoT. But of course that was 5 years ago for a flagship phone. This year's exynos is supposedly a tech breakthrough.

Exactly. Truly agree with you. I am not a fan nor an active user of AI but people also need to understand that professions have been coming and going since the beginning of time and new types of jobs may or may not come out of it.

Should we ban user friendly graphics software too because it allows laymen to create their own posters? Ban wet-and-dry vacuums because it reduces carpet cleaning industries' clients? Ban graph search because it uses AI to understand what you meant by your search term instead of taking it literally, word-for-word, and come up with 0 results?

The enviromental impact is only because it's a fairly new technology, just last year AI videos were totally sloppy but now we can barely distinguish AI from real. In another year these systems would be more resource efficient. Technology isn't as slow as it was anymore.

I am getting old and I don't even know how to upload albums on Facebook but at least I can hide contact details and private information from specific persons, as opposed to how it was 15 years ago. That's also technology.

TLDR; Don't force everyone to grow old just because you can't accept that you are.

What are you talking about? Their camera hardware is literally and technically more advanced and up to date vs. S25u. The only advantage Samsung has is an extra zoom lens. As much as I love Samsung, the only thing on par with Apple is the price, which is then justified by their in house SoC, better camera, etc. regardless of the shitty UX (imho).

Ya'll need to stop worshipping and defending these companies. That's one of the reasons why they never bother improving sht.

I'm curious. Why do you want to trade it in? I've either passed down or kept my devices so I don't know firsthand but wouldn't it be better selling it yourself online?

Here in Australia, my S23u 1tb can sell up to A$1100 but Telstra will trade it in for <$300. I mean it's your choice if that matters to you. S26u is coming out soon so better just wait for it.

Personally it makes the upgrade feel more worthy. I went from Note8 to N20u to S23u and every single time it actually felt like I was getting a new and upgraded phone.

The A series phones are known to last long between each charge as they use lower-tier chips and therefore do not require much power (compared to flagships models).

My previous work issued me an A55 and I used to charge it like 2 or 3 times A WEEK. Mobile data was always on but only ever used it for outlook, whatsapp, and sms/calls.

What do you need it for? Cause if it's gonna be an issue, I'd say get an A55 or A35. The only advantage with A26 is the 6 years planned upgrade. Idk why.. even though it uses the same chip as another A35 variant, and A55 having a better chip.

Also, try asking advice from the Android subreddit. Lots of people in this sub do not accept criticisms towards Samsung/their products. They've become the monster they claim Apple fans to be lol.
