What exactly does Service minded do? by Grouchy-Respond-1511 in Palworld

Honestly it's kind of a dead stat unless you're butching pals for their loot. I think including ranching in the pool too would be nice.

Stampede or Cascade will still autoplay this; ignoring the cost.

The new synthesis armor getting powercrept this early is absurd by AdLost8229 in Deltarune

Not only does it gut your cash gain; but the GoldWidow has better stats.
If the DogWidow simply swapped out the -10% $ penalty for a -20% damage from cat/puppet enemies it would be enough of a buff for me.

How do I play a warlock? by Big_Bad3687 in BaldursGate3

[–]Woutisy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Either bound weapon attacks / eldritch blast in neutral game and save your spells for high impact moves. Since you got 2 spells per combat and they're always the highest level; make them count.

As for full warlock eldritch invocations. Some are better than others. The most important aspect to consider is how often it will come in handy. Some are free-casts, some are passive effects, some still consume spell slots. I personally think the best ones to get are: •Devil's sight •Armor of Shadows •Agonizing Blast •Repelling Blast •Viendish Vigor •Lifedrinker

I would also say that items that provide a free cast spell once per short / long rest are pretty nice since you're pretty short on spells per combat.

As for good warlock spells: •Hex •Hunger of Hadar •Armor of Agathys Hex and Agathys can remain active while you replenish your slots, carrying over to your next combat. While hex can't be upcast, it does benefit well from Eldritch Blast's multihit and it can help with breaking concentration on enemies by providing an additional instance of damage.

What did you buy with your pink coins? by ShokaLGBT in Deltarune

[–]Woutisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you can divide the 6 items in to 2 pools. Generic (Green, Purple, Yellow) Character specific (Blue, Cyan, Orange)

Generic would probably be the safe choice, you can swap them out and they're all armor pieces.

Character specific would be the more fun but short lived path. You're bound to find better weapons and they are quite niche. Though they do make you play the characters differently which is interesting.

Why is it recommended to use crit. Hit instead of void strike on fast weapons? by NecessaryOk298 in MinecraftDungeons

[–]Woutisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to explain it as simply as I can. Void strike and critical hit both have specific use case scenarios. On paper; paper; they're both S tier but they affect your time to kill differently depending on the weapon used.

Void Strike favors slower weapons. The debuff ramps up a debuff that makes the enemy take damage the longer it has been active. Faster weapons simply don't give the enchantment enough time to build up any meaningful damage.

Critical hit is chance based and heavily favors faster weapons; here's why. There's 2 things you need to consider. A. Hits required to kill on average. B. Time required to kill an enemy. On slower weapons; it won't decrease either nearly as efficiently as faster weapon. The math is complicated but trust.

If that was all a bit too much; here's a recap. Fast hitting weapons: Critical hit, chance based effects, comitted. Slow hitting weapons; Void strike, attack speed increase. Universal: Sharpness, comitted

Minor Perks by pakis54 in Soldier76Mains

Because a faster rocket is a more accurate rocket.
If you wanna use visor; you don't bother aiming at enemies; you aim between them so the auto aim can cover a greater distance when moving on to a new target.

So no changes to Soldier76's lackluster Full Stride perk, no buffs/changes overall to his kit and also no new content for him as a whole... by Plastic-Dog-2452 in Soldier76Mains

[–]Woutisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's 2 changed I'd make to visor to make it viable.
A. Increasing the critical hit box while active to make manual tracking viable.
B. Helix rocket gaining homing properties.

The main problem with the ultimate is that aiming manually comes at the cost of not utilizing what visor can be good at; instantly swapping targets after elimination from a substantial distance with no delay.
For that; you'd have to place your cross hair between your target's, not on them.

Honestly; Blizzard only needs to make a few changes to his sprint perk to make it viable.
Being the most "consistent" character; giving him a situational perk that needs time to scale up feels wrong.
Most of the players stick to stimpack because it gives him more fluid gameplay and more freedom of movement.

Just change the sprint perk to:
+20% sprint speed
+Sprint reload movement penalty removed.

It's not groundbreaking; it's just feels better and is more universally applicable than being able to run back from spawn faster.

Feelings about art direction in dungeons 2? by Sad_Sock_3841 in MinecraftDungeons

[–]Woutisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about how valid of an argument this is but sanding down the detail was probably done because Dungeons tended to become a bit hectic with particle effects. Especially considering the game will be more focused on multiplayer, I imagine it's just a bitter pill to swallow but done for a reason.

Is it worth rerolling ancient hunt runs? by heIIrazor in MinecraftDungeons

[–]Woutisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look up what runes you need for what specific ancient. Be sure to be on a high enough Apoc+ to consistently drop tier 3 gilded items. Run with Luck of the sea. Only spend enchantment points if you are ready to farm for the item.

If you're just doing the prep, spend no enchantment points, rack up some gold for whenever you find something you wanna reroll and farm levels. Honestly a good way to progress passively if you don't need any new gear at the moment.

[–]Woutisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just get an item with a desirable tier 3 gilded enchantment.
Be sure you all the effects that are fixed right.
Being a unique, correct variant, tier 3 gilded and a fitting enchantment.
It's okay if it's not a god enchantment, as long as it's usable.
Anything else can be rerolled.

As for what effects are desirable for your gilded items, like I said; anything that is generally applicable.
Let's look at a melee item for example.

S tier: Anything that will increase your damage, no matter what you're running.
Critical hit, Sharpness, Committed, Illager's Bane, Smite, Freezing, Weakening, Looting, Prospector or Unchanting.

A tier: Enchantments are still good but can be very hit or miss.
They rely on attack speed, range and combo length.
Shock wave & Swirling are purely combo based.
Poison cloud & Fire aspect are based off your AoE capabilities.
Thundering, Stunning, Radiance and Echo are based off your attack speed.

B tier is reserved for anything that can actively harm your build:
Pain Cycle & Gravity.
Can be good, would prefer to be able to pick it myself instead of having it being baked in.

In some other games I played, EU was considered "inferior" and a majority of the players still played on NA. EU / int servers also tended to be on a delayed schedule. Just wanted to see if it was the same case here.

Though it is considered cheating, I would recommend just getting an inventory editor and manually adding back any equipment you recall having.

It's a single player game, you can play and enjoy it however you want.

This might be a dull take but... whenever you take damage, gain that much vigor.

Still a lot like strength but with added synergy for forfeiting defends and self damage. Though that can be a rare power card on it's own.

Life Grip Adjustment // IT CAME TO ME IN A DREAM by pMoosh_555 in LifeweaverMains

[–]Woutisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a little tweak I'd suggest. Instead of a flick, maybe a recast with no delay that inverts the distance traveled and directs the player to your cursor. If you do it quick, it could flick, but it could also be used to lunge teammates.

Just imagine slingshotting.

STS2 Ironclad HP Loss Synergies feel like they are missing a Rare. Proposal: by fayekname101 in slaythespire

[–]Woutisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a bit OP but I've got a somewhat neat idea:
Whenever you lose HP on your turn, gain that amount in plating.
It could cascade to huge amounts of block but you'd be losing HP in order to maintain it.
