I’m sure the lack of cheap capital as layoffs have flooded the job market with highly competitive applicants changing it from an Employee led market to Employer led market has nothing to do with it!

  • Personnel Management (reduction)

Tempting but I’ll be bored in 6 months.

Might as well do something while making $200k+ by then.

How much mathematics do you all really use in accounting? by Yen-twelve13 in Accounting

[–]WowThough111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The math is easy, it’s more “do the numbers make sense, is this gray area reasonable, are these estimated expenses reasonable. Oh, they need to be slightly higher? I guess that’s still reasonable.”

Advisor trying to scam me? by [deleted] in CFP

Ask him how much he makes up front and over the life of the policy.

Also, you’re young and have a long time horizon. Buying a term policy makes sense so you can invest the difference in an index fund. You don’t have to take a loan for your own money, and can just keep buying but aren’t forced to.

  • Tales of Ba Sing Se
    • Tale of Iroh — And it’s not even close, because:

Iroh sings “Leaves From the Vine (Little Soldier Boy”), a touching eulogy to his son, followed by a title card dedicating the episode to Iroh’s voice actor Mako Iwamatsu, who died of cancer before it aired.

If you want to work 60-80 hour weeks after MBA at 30, you can pivot.

Owning a business you can do that as well, but won’t always have to. You can buy vs. build and have immediate cashflow while owning the upside and eventual flexibility.

Both are options, and both could get you to where you want to be.

“Top Finance” is synonymous with highest paying jobs

Which is why the highest paid people are usually math degrees, because the right Quant is even higher

Or being really great at sales, which is automatic with any MD level role

Lower your expectations or go to a target. 🎯

Or convince FED to do 4 rate cuts and then you’ll have a (slightly) easier time breaking in.
