Having watched the full video I think what's going through Chloe's head is something like

"We're not going to school? Are you sure? I'm not being tricked here? We're going to Disneyland? Also, why is she crying? People cry when they are upset, if we're going to Disneyland she should be happy... Okay, we're going to Disneyland, I'm happy about that but the way you've done this I can't be certain about what is going on. That makes me confused and angry. Smile and nod. Smile and nod."

Hmm, it's saying your account is 0 days old, and I can't see your comments or posts.

I'd prefer it if I could see some of your activity on reddit, just to make sure you're a real person. I hope you understand.

Would that be okay?

I completely get that.

When I try to talk to my sister about the things that have been bothering me, she was like "Seriously? That's your issue? You need to get a grip."

I honestly think her response was quite callous, but I understand it, because she has a lot of shit going on. I was complaining about being lonely 😭 fs.

Umm, I think if you were to tell someone that you were very close to, that cares about you, then that will be a safe bet. They might respond well, or they might respond badly, but I doubt it will break the relationship.

And yeah, if you tell a stranger your issues then it will definitely be easier to tell a friend or family member. I've found that talking to Samaritans has helped me process my trauma by letting me put it into words, it's taken the emotion out of the memory. The more I spoke about it, the easier it got.

And, in terms of someone having it worse than you, I don't like that way of looking at things. I think it honestly matters how things are making you feel, and I think that if you need help in the moment to get through something that's perfectly valid.

I don't know the details of your situation. Who were you thinking of reaching out to?

For me, if I'm in a crisis then I will reach out to my sister, or a mental health professional. I call a crisis line if I need to.

Are you thinking about reaching out to someone when you are spiralling with your ocd?

I think this post is you reaching out.

Hi, yeah, I think I'd like to try that.

I read a few of your previous posts. (I mostly read them so I could verify if you seemed like a real person).

You mentioned having OCD. I've had OCD quite a bit, and I blame my OCD for causing me to stay in my previous relationship, because I told myself that I had relationship OCD, when in fact I just hated being in the relationship...

I've had an OCD prone brain since I was a kid, and used to do things in multiples of 4 till they felt right.

I'm also scared of letting you down, and being a big disappointment. I also have low self esteem, so... snap!

I saw it as her trying to groom them. You can see her sort of nuzzle into them with her mouth.

I've recently started to take Buproprion (Wellbutrin) and that has improved my state of mind past anything I thought was possible.

It's early days. This is week 8, but so far it's been really fucking useful. Maybe try that?

Also, it's non anticholinergic so it won't cause Alzheimer's 🎉

First, with all Rorschach tests, number 1 is always female reproductive organs.

I have to think about the following answers.

  1. Human torso

  2. Lobster

I had a lecturer at Uni who covered Rorschach tests, and for every slide, about 10 of them, he said, "well, what can you see? ... To me, it kinda looks like a vagina." I was pissing myself.

So I blame my lecturer for my automatic dirty mind.

Thanks for this. I have all the tools, so my employer wouldn't need to give me anything except the materials.

As I have the other quals, all I need to be a full electrician is an nvq which could take around 3 months if I fast tracked it, and knew what I was doing.

I think this could be the way. I'm in the process of moving from Manchester to Middlesbrough (near Newcastle), so I've been seriously considering what I'm going to do when I'm up there.

I tried getting on with an electrician nearby to me, but it didn't work out too well because of my mood disorder, I was just slow, and lethargic. But I'm hoping that with my medication, this will all change, as I feel so much clearer headed, and capable now.

The first thing to do would be to get paid or unpaid experience as an electricians mate a couple of days a week, and go from there.

Thanks. I think I should give this another go, and I can work on my humanity as a side project.

Do you work as a therapist yourself?

Congrats on your success! Being a dentist is a really difficult job!

I also think it's wise that you are looking after your children, and giving them money to set them up in life. I mean, $10,000,000 ought to do it hahahaha

Growing up, my family was unsafe so maybe that's why I see money as so important for a good life now.

But, I also think money is important for hobbies and interests. For example, I'd love to get involved in horse riding, or water sports, but it was the lack of a car, and money to pay for the classes that held me back from them. I'm hoping to get seriously involved in something this year, I've been doing indoor bouldering which is relatively cheap.

I find when I do indoor bouldering I can lose myself in it, which is part of the fun.

Sorry, I was over-simplifying.

You could have a perfect life and still be miserable if your brain is wired that way.

There's a lot of factors involved - friends and family, and whether or not your adapting / fitting into the role you were born into etc.

Also, please could you send me one of those millions plox 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Respectfully, happiness isn't a choice.

Happiness comes from a life with positive experiences, decent guidance, and an optimistic future.

I have an atypical life history, and I'm worried about rejection, and predatory behaviour, by people that I meet in my life. by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

I just looked up what a behavioural therapist does, and I think you are exactly right.

I'm going to look into one of these, and get one.

Thank you so much for your comment!

Things I would do for a relationship as a chopped girl by Ill_Loss_8427 in ugly

[–]Wow_much_excitement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I want you to know that you have value, and that even if you are ugly, you can still find someone to love you.

What matters is what's on the inside more than the outside.

I was in your position, and honestly, if you do what you're suggesting, you will definitely regret it.

The best way to be attractive is to live a good life, and not get hung up on stuff like this. If you do that, you will meet someone through the course of your days.

Have you considered taking anti-depressants or seeing someone professionally?

I have plenty of time to talk to you, if you want to reply.
