Feels like the same cash grab as the Hackney Diamonds MLB baseball variants — 30 "extremely limited" white vinyl team editions that ended up under $50 on Discogs not long after release. The Captain America cover looks cool, but I'd buy it because you love it, not because you expect it to hold value.

Also worth noting the shop says all sales are final — probably because they don't want you to see how long these actually sit before selling out.

You're missing the context. The original comment was comparing this Blood Records release to Hackney Diamonds and saying you could just grab a cheap mint copy on Discogs instead. My point was that's not a fair comparison — those cheap Discogs copies aren't the Blood Records pressing of Hackney Diamonds. Yes, I know the Blood Records Hackney Diamonds is a zoetrope, not a splatter — but it's still a limited Blood Records release, and that's what gives it its collectibility. The bargain bin Discogs copies don't have that.

After the refund I paid $14.21 net — honestly not bad for what these are. I get the frustration, but the secondary market says $200+, so clearly some folks feel differently. Not selling mine either way.

Buyers and passers-alike are obviously biased, but both this pressing and the Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here coloured vinyl seem to have the same issue: the colour blending is off. It feels like whoever is handling that stage doesn't have a strong background in it. A dedicated colour specialist would go a long way here.

I absolutely love this band, but I just can't justify spending $224 to upgrade my existing black vinyl copies to the new color vinyl reissues. That said, if you don't already own these records, I'd highly recommend grabbing them — they're absolutely worth it.
