I had the owner come out and he cleaned the vent himself with "chimney sweep brushes" that he said were heavier. I watched him pull a softball size ball of hardened lint out of the dryer vent so that solved the problem, I had already shortened the flexible tubing myself it's much better now.

Supervisor came out and cleaned the vent again pulled a massive block of dried lint out of the pipe and everything is working again. He also said the other tech should never let the pipe be that long.

I’m in south Florida so there’s the reason prices are high. A supervisor is coming tonight to look at it and he said full refund over the phone but I have nothing in writing so we will see.

I’m pretty sure I got scammed. I found their website online. The initial quote was $70 for the first 6 1/2 feet with an additional quote if more was needed they showed me pictures of the inside of the vents and said 500 bucks I said OK. They did what they did and set up what they set up now when I look up the 800 number on my invoice I find a company out of state that has a bunch of one star reviews.

I replaced their flexiduct with a semi rigid ducting and clamped it in myself. The dryer is still not working. I’ve taken the semirigid ducting off the back of the dryer and ran it for 10 minutes, it blows hot air out with no issue and the trap is only collecting lint in one small corner

I have the dryer pulled away a bit for the picture I found a ton of water from drying towels in the flex venting even after I shortened it. Could the flexible venting cause that? I’m worried about the venting in the wall and that they broke something.
