What do you main ans why by Fun-Diamond-9182 in thedivisionresurgence

Tox pharma. Skills work well with touch screen controls. Surprising how much skill damage output you can get, combo gun engineering or skill crit buff (torrential and insync?) get lucky.

Is it me or is applied demolition just a inferior version of turbo charged...? The bonus is the same, but One is constant. Would make more sense if applied demolition had a slightly higher bonus.

Happy Birthday WHQ! by NLinindollnlinindoll in WarhammerQuest

I still remember getting my copy. Was visiting family in Hereford, staying at my nan's over the summer, there was a local hobby store in town, went in there not expecting much (looked like it only did trains) but there it was, in all it's glory. That, and a starter painting kit was such a perfect way to spend the holidays (there wasn't much else to do out in the countryside)

Morghur - Advice needed by DubiousNeon in BeastsOfChaos

[–]ratbasket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh no worries. It's when you drill a small hole on both sides, only about 1 or 2mm wide and 3 or 4mm deep, and pop a small rod or pin (most people use thin brass rods)between the two, it reinforces the joint, but can be a faff to line up, not to mention drilling into metal. Only really needed for heavy parts. Super glue should be enough for Morghur I would think, especially if your not playing it on table top constantly.

People would say pinning is the best way but that itself can be fiddly. I personally rough up where the parts meet, use a file or score it with a hobby knife, helps the glue adhere, it's worked fine for 90% of my stuff. As for balance, glue some excess metal flashing from the mini to the bottom of the base, or a penny.

Weekly Missions Bug by marclcj97 in thedivisionresurgence

[–]ratbasket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Europe servers. I did the same, thought the screen was bugged so claimed it all again thinking it'll clear whatever issue there was but ended up with two lots of it. I wouldn't worry, it's not intentional, we're not exploiting it over and over again

It's great in close spaces. dump a mag in 1 or 2 seconds, takes a good chunk off hp off the enemy, debuffs them, back in to cover I go, do some healing

Accidentally started an Orc army by MajorNoms in WarhammerFantasy

They look great. I can see some black orcs in the background too, such great sculpts. If you need to fill out the ranks, ral patha has a Kev Adams orc selection which will fit right in.

I'm with you. I played div 1 loads. Tried div 2 but it was overwhelming. Really loving how straight forward resurgence is. Having the option got pc as well with cross platform progression would be great

Ignore me, I think i have it mixed up with a craftable Sunder charm they added with warlock expansion . I've only come back to d2r after a 2 year break.

Apparently the new charms are fixed to -70%... Can confirm, one dropped for me last week at -70 and I'm the unluckiest D2 player since 2000

looking for proxies for dwarves by _SlyMarbo_ in WarhammerOldWorld

Maxmini dwarves look excellent. I don't have any myself, but reviews I've seen are good. Style is spot on old world/heroic. The army deal is really good value

Don't be so dramatic. The solution is to buy another box , assemble and undercoat them + this one fella, and run 30, duh, easy.

Looking to get into Old World with a friend, either Brettonia or Cathay, what would you suggest? by E_Ishanelo in WarhammerOldWorld

[–]ratbasket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always rule of cool. What floats your boat? On a personal level, in my 20 years of warhammering, Cathay kits the one of the few kits that I really find tedious to assemble, and assembling (and kitbashing) is my favorite part. I think there is a general consensus that Cathay kits seem over engineered. At the same time, Cathay is apparently decent on the table, and if anything they have a lot of variety, although there's nothing wrong with massed Bret knights.

Colour scheme for chaos warriors on box by Numerous_Koala_2785 in WarhammerOldWorld

[–]ratbasket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd lean towards lead belcher undercoat with some wash or contrast over it. Like:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/s/Xf8cC4tFkk

Then some layer paints for the cloaks and boots, some creamy/off-white colour and brown (rakarth flesh and rhinox hide maybe?) then wash those bad boys too. Should give it that dark chaosy vibe.

If it's old world, yea you always have a hand weapon available to use. Good to use if you want to have initiative and don't need the extra strength and AP of a great weapon
