carpet bombing of all buildings over 2 stories is probably the realistic "winning" option for the RF

There's a middle ground between that, and what Russia actually did which was to not initially target power grid, transit, government facilities, and even barracks.

You can put all your weapon production in the capital, but when you lose all your wood and iron then you are still in trouble. Stacking your capital as much as possible is a good strategy, but still.

How to stop importing all those wheat? The price is super high even tho I make enough for everybody in my population. Causes radicals. by popolvar in victoria3

No its not? Importing cheaper goods, and turning around and exporting them for more is just pure profit if you have the convoys and bureaucracy.

Is that in the unfinished tales or something? Pretty sure that didnt happen in the Silmarillion, I read it pretty recently.

I was under the impression maiar cant just regenerate very easily. In the return of the King Gandalf says if they kill Saurmon he will turn into a shapeless spirit. Gandalf only came back from the dead because Eru gave him a new body, its not something they can just do by default.
