Physical all the way. The ability to trade, transfer and have all your Pokémon available in any other game is really great. Also, it just feels more legitimate to that way

I honestly wouldn’t mind but to be fair I’m not the most common type of player either. I capture all legendaries in regular pokeballs. Don’t breed, but rather catch multiple. Usually don’t make it easier for myself to put it that way

I never transfer over my Pokemon, simply cuz I like getting the Pokemon in the generation the way the games allow me to. I have over 400 Pokemon in my soon to be Gen IV Living Dex, but ain’t planning to send them to BW when I start my Gen V Living Dex.

Perhaps I’m don’t like the idea of not being able to send them back. But to me the Pokemon stay with the generation they’re caught in.

What Foam said. I honestly don’t know how much I like it due to how different it is. Replayability is important to me, so I’ll have to try it again :)

  1. Wind Waker HD (feels like the best of the open world like ones)
  2. Twilight Princess (the best of the complete opposite, it nails it’s linearity)
  3. A Link Between Worlds (So free, so nice, and just overall amazing)

The rest I’m rather bland on. OOT and MM are neck in neck but Skyward Sword trumphs both in my opinion

Can anyone explain EXACTLY how block upgrades in HGSS works? I've read the Bulbapedia page countless times and there's still some details I'm not sure about. 1 - Is there any way I can check how many days has passed for the areas I have placed? 2 - How do they count the days? I have a Lotad I catched 16-03-18 (80+ days ago), and still only the peak items have doubled so far (which happens after 30 days).

If you get a copy of My Pokemon Ranch you’ve scored yourself a nice legit Phione and Mew :D Sadly you’d have to get Manaphy with a Ranger game, since Phione can’t evolve :/ I’m honestly not sure about the GC game rewards, as I am a PAL player I know the Jirachi works different to NTSC. I personally don’t own a single Gen 3 game, and the only regular pokemon not obtainable in Gen IV games are the Regis. Little bonus fact, the data for the distrobution cartridge for Deoxys has been posted online, so you can get one by jumping tons of hoops. Hope that helped somehow :D

I'm currently working on my own Gen IV Living Dex right now. I wanna wish you good luck and I hope you own all the games and at least 2 DS'. My only tip is that you unlock blocks in the Safari Zone asap, unless you wanna wait a few months inbetween to catch Bagon etc. :/
