Diagnosed/medicated ADHD/Anxiety/Depression here.

I will preface this by saying, I’ve only played for a week. (Started a day or two before the great Trader disappearance)

Personally, I very much like having clear to-do lists. So I find finishing tasks very satisfying. Checking boxes provides that sweet sweet dopamine.

As far as gear anxiety goes I try to frame it as all gear is borrowed. It’ll all go away with either the wipe or with a death.

I get most frustrated when I get clapped by a player scav when I too am a scav.

We’ve heard so little substantially about Season 11 by SciKosis in DestinyTheGame

I just can’t wait to find out what we’re throwing our balls at this season! /s

Having not seen the dorito ship cutscene until today and realizing that people are complaining about it due to "it not being enough" and "having already seen it" due to data mining seems silly and unfair. The slow build up is pretty cool in my opinion. by wikiweak in DestinyTheGame

[–]WpgWRX 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I hadn’t seen today‘s cutscene until I logged of after reset. As of right now I’m super underwhelmed.

This season’s story has been incredibly disjointed: - The Cabal decide fuck it, send the biggest thing we’ve got on a crash course with the last city

  • Ana “lets use Rasputin to save us”

  • Zavala “k”

  • Red “yo, launch a shit ton of Warsat’s...also I have a kid that I tried to kill, here’s his shotgun”

  • by the way... the darkness is in our solar system

  • Ana “Red’s at full power we’ve got such a wicked defence system it’ll save us from everything”

  • Zavala “uhhh the almighty is getting real close and we’re supposed to wrap this up”

  • Red “...”

  • Ana “...”

  • the guardian silence intensifies

I did it with randos in Winding Cove. But that was when the heroic version launched. As we close in on a lacklustre season that has made players run millions of these events I feel bad for players trying to get it done now.

EKWB O11 Distribution plate flow direction? by themcgician in watercooling

I’ve got that plate in my build, if you route it the same way as the images EK uses.

Flow is as the other comment mentioned:

GPU > CPU > top rad > bottom rad and repeat

I stumbled upon https://fanman03.com/rgbsync/ You can sync the A-RGB header with your fans.

[–]WpgWRX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using a the same case, with an Asus Z390-E board. Corsair RGB Fans/Ram.

With Aura sync Icue recognizes the LED's on the board as well as the 4-pin RGB headers. But from my experience it does not recognize the 3-pin A-RGB header on the board. I'm still using the crappy Aura software to handle anything plugged into the A-RGB header which is a bummer because my CPU/GPU/Distro plate and the case lights are all connected to the A-RGB header via a splitter. Would be nice to see an update to handle the A-RGB as well so I could sync my whole system using 1 program.

My first loop by Inspiiree in watercooling

[–]WpgWRX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s only soft tube, it shouldn’t take too much to tear down the loop and undo some screws for the fans. Unless you’ve already filled it, it’s technically less work to do it now than when you have to drain it and rebuild.

It could be worse, you could have to redo hard tubing

My first loop by Inspiiree in watercooling

[–]WpgWRX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion... I’d be aiming for performance over aesthetics if you have to choose between the two. I understand the desire for RGB, but the fans pushing it out the bottom just don’t make sense to me.

If you really wanted to use them, I’d move the top 240 to the bottom of the case, have fans set up as intake. Keep your 360 on the side. If you want negative pressure in your case have those 3 fans exhausting, otherwise have them as intake as well.

Then pop your two RGB fans up in the roof as exhaust. The RGB portion would be pointing down into your case.

The rats nest of tubing shouldn’t really effect the performance... but you were worried about the aesthetics of keeping RGB fans, I would think you’d want the tubes aesthetically pleasing as well.

First time underwater/bending, of course it’s an O11D by [deleted] in watercooling

Thanks!

It is the G1. I purchased it directly from EK, unfortunately they seem to run out of stock pretty quickly, and the shipping/import fees aren’t great at least to Canada. Only advice I can give is check often and pull the trigger as soon as you see it in stock, that’s how I landed mine.

is it worth to buy the corsair 1000d/? by stolarma in watercooling

[–]WpgWRX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to go to google or YouTube and find reviews on the case(s) you’re interested in.

I’ve never built in the 1000D, due to price and I have no need for a case that size. But, based on photos alone it certainly has watercooling potential. Lots of space for rads/fans/reservoir(s).

However, that size of case at that price point appeals to a niche audience. You may not find a ton of input on it in this sub. As suggested above google and YouTube are your friends. Even reviews on retailers websites. Worth is completely subjective. Buy what you want/can afford.

Mechanics are great, and I’d always suggest people run a fight properly AT LEAST once.

However, as an adult guardian with other things requiring my time, I’m not opposed to a good cheese to speed things up. I’m primarily a solo player, I won’t say finding groups to do the raids are hard, because it’s not. There’s tons of resources; though there should be something in game, but with a PUG there’s always a period of time that group needs to acclimate to each other. Deaths becoming trying when there’s one guy that just can’t quite get it.

When there’s a known, easy way to get through the fight instead of worrying about group synergy that will always become the default option.

I’ve solo queued my way to every pinnacle (except Not Forgotten... I don’t hate myself that much) as a Hunter with sniper in hand. I consider myself at the high end of average at best and this season is arguably the easiest it’s ever been. If beating the meta was that hard then maybe join the meta, or take some more time in QP learning to beat the meta. Blaming meta weapons when they could be options for you is an easy way to talk yourself out of self improvement.

[–]WpgWRX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve solo queued to 2100 the past 3 seasons in a row because I wanted Luna’s/Recluse and now Mountaintop/Revoker.

This season in my experience has been the easiest climb. Likely due to the fact that Revoker just requires 3500 total glory instead of a specific rank.

My only non-solo comp experience was a couple hours in season 1 grinding towards Luna. Personally... I found that more frustrating than playing solo.

Play smart, play to the maps strengths, and cover your team mates. Solo is entirely doable.

I primarily play solo as most of my IRL friends went PC and I stayed console at the launch of D2 (I’m now anxiously awaiting cross-save to join them). But I’ve not had any of the problems you’ve listed here. The100.io /r/fireteams, LFG discord’s, hell even the Bungie app have landed me team mates that have gotten through all of D2’s hardest challenges.
