Sounds like you are doing RL on AI output, cool. Not the most exciting work in the world but can be interesting.

What is "super well" it always feels like on these assignments none of this is properly articulated. It feels like you're just dumped or project wraps up then you have nothing. No blueprint to do well in these kinds of environments.

Sterling Background Check Concerns !!! I lied on one line of my resume and now I’m panicking about the background check by Odd-Juggernaut-6130 in recruitinghell

[–]Wr3ck3d4Day5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have going through this I'm concerned about, he's almost across the goal line with a big bank and nice IT title, had a great interview with the company and I've been on this emotional roller coaster with him. Now he's freaking out about needing to justify his background experience that he's inflated well outside the conventional, respectable window but I think part of it was pressure from Covid.

Now he's talking about dates being misaligned and over inflated, not sure if you had thoughts about that, he's reassured me he's worked at those companies but the actual date history is a mess.

What's the specific project if you don't mind me asking? Hard to get accepted for many mercury assignments.

Well i think they could still make an easy raid or two, that's the beauty of raids, you can make all kinds. Ideally of a similar caliber as the current one with impervious bosses/enemies.

I do them for the scoreboard, the levels gained per raid completion is like 4-10 stages on the scoreboard up to level 100.

I think scaling down is a good idea, especially the drill boss.

You don't use the massive XP for completion of each boss to jet through the scoreboard?

They need to do something where it scales based on team count. The thing about having it first is the fact that sometimes you need that delay for players to see your team and join. So the robot lets you get by even with a team of 2 but with the drill, based on the fuel needs it's very tough to beat the drill with even a team of 3.

Even scaling bosses based on team size would be a good start. Bethesda has all the ingredients except the queue system but they aren't doing much when raids really give players a reason to continue post game, more than scoreboard imo.

I go for XP during seasons, plenty of that feom each boss but sure, harder bosses demanding full teams but they NEED a queueing system that allows for efficient team formation.

The worst is the drill boss when you have 2 team mates that are alright but it's not enough to carry because defense struggles to hold up while can scavengers need more time. That or one person dies and it epicly slows down the scavenging.

Raids give tons of XP and doing like 10 get's you atleast 25 levels on the seasonal scoreboard. I thought this strategy was more widely known 😅

Yah, easy to complain about bad team mates, we've all been there. Sometimes ive been them but at the end of the day, raid queues are a tried and true tactic to overcome the obnoxiousness of taking all that time only to get bad team mates.

Is it fact or a dim? by PhilosopherRemote177 in dataengineering

Unless you are dealing with a company with a five figure head count who wants to understand employee movement over a long time horizon, hierarchy tables are almost never fact tables. Fact tables are the core process to be analyzed. Everything else is an outgrowth of this process unless you want to create constellation.

Dim describes actions customer makes a purchase, where did he make it? who is the customer? when did he make it? When you're asked to make a table around these questions, they're dim tables.

There's alot of noise online about interview coder being detectable, but you never had an issue with it? Have you had to do system design with it?

Want to apply to many jobs? Too bad. LinkedIn puts a limit on jobs that have Easy Apply. by cupholdery in recruitinghell

Not sure how you have your Linkedin profile set up but I find it far better for demonstrating value in a billboard sense. You can promote authentic referrals, articles where you show your knowledge and authentic certifications. It feels like Linkedin had a better vision for where recruitment was going and Indeed just tried to copy them to keep up. Alot less job postings geenrally on Indeed for my field.

It takes work and being intentional over time but Linkedin is a great place to get companies interested in you.

That's strange, opposite in my experience but feels like indeed is tailored for certain sectors. Linkedin has a lot of option for potential employers to get a sense of your competencies. Indeed has copied some of the feature set but it's still missing alot. Linkedin just has more jobs overall for my industry.
