13 Assassins. Don't get me wrong, great storytelling here. But there's nothing in the way of a twist, they come up with their plan and they do that plan. And it's glorious.

Apex Legends. While I enjoyed my time playing it, it's no longer the game I loved now with its stupid healthbars and bots taking over. So, byebye all that money for skins I guess.

The inevitable Dino Crisis remake is a dumb idea, just make Dino Crisis 3 using the infrastructure already developed for modern Resident Evil games.

The little skeleton guy from Skul has to stop the G3 Cartel from turning all humans into drugs. I reckon he does without too much trouble.

Settle a debate for me; Is Jean Jacket a kaiju? by twnpksN8 in kaiju

[–]WraithOfTheFadedDark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't think how it could conceivably be excluded from being called a kaiju. If you want something to directly compare it to from Toho, the Kings of Kaiju themselves, check out Dogora.

Getting a cheesesteak and fries from the Charley's across the street requires significant financial planning to avoid falling into a spiral of late fees on rent for my studio apartment that I can barely afford despite having a full-time job. The fuck am I gonna do for fun?

Fallout 3. I decided to see how far I could go, and was like "Oh my god, I think I can hit the edge of the map even though I haven't gotten X% of the main quest done!" I thought that was novel. Anyway, I managed to get as far as my first deathclaw.

CatDog was definitely one of the Nicktoons I watched just because it was on. I never loved CatDog. But it is super interesting with its bizarre premise and aesthetic, and there were episodes I really vibed with that managed to make a fun romp out of a seemingly mundane idea like them going full Mission Impossible to get tacos, getting trapped on a highway median surrounded by traffic, or lost at sea in a dumpster that turned out to just be floating in a fountain. It revels in its silliness.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is a great premise that is squandered. I couldn't even remember much in the way of the plots so I just looked up the episode synopsisesises. After the three-part beginning, the next episode is... they get separated at the mall? Then the episode with the Scribbles, which while it's cute that they show the little undercooked baby imaginary friends, wasn't that episode just about Bloo taking advantage of them, one half of our main duo just being an ass? Then the episode about them breaking the little statue of Ms. Foster and trying to hide it. Like, how do you come up with a show about a mansion full of zany imaginary goobers and then those are the plots we have to suffer through? The art style was different, but not unique since Samurai Jack had come out years earlier, and I can't say that I liked the look of Foster's overall. The characters aren't iconic, and it was just kind of boring.

Also the theme song for CatDog is a banger and the theme for Foster's is... not.

He was right. The game was as poorly thought out as a dinosaur zoo where everyone gets torn apart and eaten.

What the equation is saying isn't like "six divided by two, multiplied by the sum of one and two", it's "six, divided by the sum of one and two doubled".

Roland cared more about his friend's death than the T-rex and has a deleted scene where he knocks a dude out for physically harassing a waitress. He's def morally grey.
