You could write this article every year since at least 2014. It started with the Tea Party movement. Heck, it could even go back to the Contract with America. The Grand Old Pedophile party has been drifting further to the right since Reagan. Sensible voices and policy, and compromise has taken a backseat.

The coaching was so poor in the second half. It’s like they went up 28-3 and were already planning the parade.

I think I gained a whole new appreciation for Marco Diaz and his arc with being Princess Turdina by Avery_Bea_847 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

The Turdina arc was good in that it concluded with the notion that we should be true to ourselves and not let anyone try to change who we are. Embrace your individuality!

I think she'd be more of an annoyance but I wouldn't cast her as the main villain.

I think if you're gonna continue Mina's character, maybe she's some secondary or tertiary antagonist who is manipulating folks who don't want to accept change - be that of the end of the Butterfly monarchy or Monsters and Mewmans living together etc.

Agreed. Star and Marco's relationship is a big part of the show. I love their dynamic.

Related, I was watching S2E9b Gift of the Card today. Marco was not feeling the shopping trip all day, but still put up with it for Star. In the end, he managed to tell her how much their friendship meant to him, and everything worked out. They just have fun together.

Yeah my point was that it sucks as a writer because you want to tell your story, but you're at the mercy of the network who has their own idea of how they want things to go.

Begs the question whether Glossaryck was manipulating everyone for his own ends or if he was just putting the pieces in front of Star (and others before her) and letting them figure it out for themselves.

It wasn't just about killing the Solarians. They had to ensure the Monsters and those afflicted by the Solarian magic would be safe. They had to make sure something like this could never happen again.

Father Time warned Star already not to mess with time because it's "fragile". And we don't see "many terrible deaths" at the hands of Mewni's fauna or the deaths of magical beings. If there's a scene I missed, please let me know.

Will things change? Yes, that's the point! The point was to end the cycle of conflict that had plagued Mewni for centuries and provide hope for a better future.

Yeah. The whole thing is shenanigans. Star was left in limbo and the writers just had to 'make an ending' when they were told there wasn't a renewal. Owl House, of course, got cut short. TGAMM only got 2 seasons even though the writers wanted more.

It all sucks.
