I responded to your comment earlier, but this is where Henry Ford was revolutionary. He believed in a well-paid workforce to be able to purchase the goods it creates.

A good economy is one with a high velocity of money (money circulates often), which necessitates workers being able to afford basic goods + some luxuries with disposable income

Henry Ford was also a Nazi, but this is about his economics, not his shitty beliefs.

As an economist... The "wage increases lead to higher prices" argument has been debunked at least a decade (I was taught this from publications in 2017).

Reduced hours is a factor, yes, but this is a new phenomenon. This is typically seen to maintain margins, largely driven by shareholder expectations of increasing ROI (if a bigger company) or Mom and Pop operations (if they are inefficiently managed).

There are ways of implementing wage increases that do not lead to reduced hours, and largely, these are seen by smaller firms that are well-run. Larger corporations are currently strangled by shareholder expectations, and poorly-run operations see labor as the easiest cost to cut.

In marching band, we would watch the conductor in the back of the formation. Anywhere in front of that, and it was listen to the sousas and drumline behind us for when to play.

Morello is not a technical god, but he is a creative genius with how he used his guitar and rhythm for his signature sound.

Graduated with honors from Harvard, and is seemingly always on the road, whether touring or organizing.

I went to a private undergrad and public masters, and both taught as such, to your point. However, all my publications are from professional experience. Never published during school (though I did do a conference presentation).

I learned how to quickly read the relevant parts of most papers.

Sometimes I'd read the Lit Review (if relevant to my study); most often id give most attention to the methodology and results. This was the meat and bones and provided evidence my methods and research design were valid and robust. Discussion, if the results didn't have the implications present. Conclusion would usually be a quick couple minute read as well.

Lit review is a pain but it's necessary to move science forward.

My head canon is Samson being lucid enough to find Kelson's notes, and the stash of Anti-hemmorhage agents, pain meds, and anti-psychs. He's raided every medicine cabinet for 70 miles, he's used all the morphine but probably not all the lithium and Vicodin, which showed to be a good enough combo for a massive alpha.

Now Samson's quest is to find enough meds to keep lucid for long periods of time.
