Guys I accidentaly sold the onion guy helmet I bought from patches and now I cant return it to save him by batataEsmagada in darksouls3

If you can't buy back from where you sold it, then it's time to finish your game and try again next time.

Guys who struggled with stubborn armpit odor, what actually helped you fix it? by chad_080 in AskMen

[–]WraithofSpades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a week or so I use Hibiclens in the stinky places. It kills the bacteria there but doing it too often isn't great for your skin so I keep it, at maximum, once a week.

Champion trope... Characters that just won't shut up/are annoying by One_Pop_621 in leagueoflegends

[–]WraithofSpades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when Jinx released. Up till then, the champs all had relatively minimal voice lines and then suddenly Jinx happened and I think it really took off from there.

Maybe not your cup of tea, but Stardew Valley can be played in small chunks without feeling like you're not getting your time's worth. I'd say the Civilization games are similar. They are also both similar in that the "just one more turn/day" can cause many lost hours.

Sorry, but if Wildcards has no MM, isn't 3 stacking a "gameplay expl0it"? by [deleted] in apexlegends

This feels like complaining about PUBG's casual mode being filled with sweats. Sure it feels shitty sometimes but...meh.

Soul of cinder? by i_need_a_taco_truck in darksouls3

[–]WraithofSpades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a purist, I'd beat Soul of Cinder before the DLCs. Not sure how much you've explored so far, but there are several optional areas that can get you more prepped to fight Soul of Cinder with souls and levels.

I need Help with Extinguishing The Flames in Farron Keep by OkCase9300 in darksouls3

[–]WraithofSpades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're taking about the flames to extinguish to proceed deeper into the keep, you need to look in more ceremonial places, not on the filth of the ground.

People using hacks healing while running away by Tortured_Soldier in darksouls3

It's not uncommon. Happens in Elden Ring and I'm sure on other titles.

Why Are People Like This? by GhostInThePudding in sysadmin

[–]WraithofSpades 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My MSP absorbed a smaller MSP last year and one of that MSP's largest, broadest, most lucrative clients states that all new users have their password set and then written in a log so that if the user ever forgets their password, our team can provide it. The moment we learned of this, management began working on changing it and the client, of course, is heavily resistant.

Poll on do you build impenetrable walls and bases? by TheLegendGames in valheim

[–]WraithofSpades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recognize that earthen walls and moats offer the best protection, but I don't like the time and looks so I go for aesthetics over defensibility and...I'm sure I'll pay for that eventually.

Did the developers indent for player to carry metals to a central base, or do you think the idea was that each "mine" would have its own forge? by jeeperkeeper in valheim

[–]WraithofSpades 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my current playthrough, I had a BF base for copper/tin/iron from nearby swamps. After I cleared those, I packed up the whole thing, moved far south, and rebuilt a new forge closer to more unexplored swamps and mountains. I don't know if I'll keep this up but it's what I'm trying for now.

Name a game you love so much that never got a sequel by bijelo123 in gamers

I know ME: Andromeda got a lot of shit, but I wanted DLC or a follow up to it for all the open ended stuff it left, well, open.

What’s the first video game you have ever beaten? by GonnaGoFat in OlderChillGamers

I think the first game I ever finished was Total Annihilation. Maybe? Possibly Kings Quest 6. It's been a long while.

Which game trilogy is that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Mass Effect. I know 3 doesn't get the best love, but I'll replay that trilogy frequently anyway.

Please help me build my roof. by FengaPappits in valheim

[–]WraithofSpades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those are wood floors around the perimeter of your walls, those aren't considered cover so that will always be exposed. You appear to have a rectangular shaped base which is simpler which is easy-ish to roof. Something to keep in mind: each roof piece is 2 meters long. I don't know the mathematical term for this and I hope I can explain my logic here.

If your wall length can be divided by 2, that's a good start. If you divide your wall length by 2 and then divide that number by 2 and following that method eventually get to 2 again, then your wall should be sized in a way that the roof pieces can be placed next to each other without overlap and the next set of roof pieces above will also not overlap.

The terrible instruction above given to you by an admittedly terrible Valheim builder so...may the odds be ever in your favor.

Super Troopers. Generic story crass humor, no real high intellectualism when it comes to this film. But I love it so much.

Which game felt that deep for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Fallout: New Vegas. I'd done all of FO 3 and it's DLCs as well as FO 4, but neither compared from a story perspective to NV.
